Super 8 by Wyndham Union

Me and 4 kids stayed 2 nights. Everthing was clean,hotel smelled nice. Pool was perfect for the children. They were sad we had to leave!

Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, kids loved the pool, we all slept great. If it was closer to six flags, it would have been perfect for my family!

I was traveling for a family funeral. When I arrived at the hotel the was no one at the desk. I rang the bell and waited a full minute before ringing it again. In total I ended up ringing the bell 5 times with no response. At one point a housekeeper walked by and said, "Someone will probably be along eventually." I continued to wait a few more minutes with no help. By this time I had been waiting several minutes, and needed to get to a funeral. I finally resorted to walking around yelling, "hello". After I had been waiting with no help for over 15 minutes someone finally yelled back, "I'll be there in a little bit." Then she proceeded to go and get herself ice and a drink. Normally, i would've just went somewhere else but I had to get to the funeral and this was the only hotel in town. Eventually, she did come to the desk, which was actually very little help, because she had no idea how to use their "new" computer system and told me she couldn't check me in until she figured it out. She tried several times to check me in and got nowhere. She then called someone who I assume told her to just give me a key and let me go. Which she did. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have my reservation for 2 days, just one. They asked that I come to the desk the next morning to check in for another night, and assured me it would take less than 5 minutes. I went to the desk, as requested, and the same employee was there and STILL did not know how to use the system.

I stayed here with my grandkids and we had a fabulous stay. They loved the pool abd the rooms were spacious. I only wished we had known it was pet friendly. For $10 we will bring our dog next time :)

A two night stay with my dog to visit friends and family. Glad they have an elevator. They did not clean my room or provide more towels after night one. Weird I thought but just me so three towels were fine. But my trash cans did all get full

I knew it was supposed to storm and my twin grandchildren were staying with me for the night so as part of their birthday celebration we booked this location because they had an indoor pool. The room was clean, the hotel was older but clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and was open until 10pm so that made the kids very happy. The only complaint I have (I relayed to staff) was that there was a very strong odor of marijuana in the hallway outside our room,

While I feel bad they cannot find housekeeping staff, the property was a bit run down. Carpet turned the bottom of my feet black. Didn’t know about recycling my towels so had to get fresh ones and was told I should’ve been told about housekeeping issues. Said the person who had checked me in…. Saturday evening a bunch of kids were hanging around the side door. ??? One kid acted like he owned it and “allowed” me to come in. Nice touch. I got to my room and it stunk really musty. Not a good welcoming feeling about staying there.

The desk attendant was uninterested in taking care of the incredibly loud and disrespectful family who made the small, indoor pool area completely unusable. She was not only informed by myself, and 2 other families, but could also hear it in the lobby AND see it on the video right next to her, but she chose to do nothing. As for the room, it left a lot to be desired. The toilet seat was completely detached from the toilet. The used bar of soap from the last guests still rested on the sink, 2 of the outlets didn't work, and the sheets on one of the beds clearly hadn't been changed. I have no idea how this hotel has good reviews. It was much too expensive for what you get.

The hotel had a pool which is why we chose it. The kids wanted to swim. We were told the pool was open at check in. We all got our suits on and went down only to discover the pool was closed. The man at the front desk was rude and the children were in tears. There was no microwave in the room. The blankets on the bed were burned by cigarettes even though it’s a non smoking property. Save your money and stay someplace else.

Quick check-in. Friendly staff. Great parking. Continental breakfast had a nice selection. Beverages under par...coffee was gross, juices week. Staff threw away my special creamer after being inside their cooler for maybe 5 minutes. Staff member didn't ask guests in breakfast room if belonged to someone in there, before throwing it in the trash. Staff member did apologize. Disappointing. But overall, it was a nice gathering place for multi-family get together. Oh, one last comment, the 2nd floor corridor did not have a/c running. Very warm long corridor, quite uncomfortable in late afternoons.
