Pool and athletic facilities were great kid had fun

Great venue with a lot of on-site activity options for the whole family. Would definitely stay there again.

It was fine. My kids an i were in a room that had a door to the next room that the other guests kids kept trying to open, but other then that the stay was okay.

The price was very expensive for what it was. I asked the front desk for another ice bucket and it was never delivered. At breakfast the prices were extremely high and there was basically no service. The leader told us he would "take care of it" which led us to believe he was going to comp the one bowl of oatmeal I ordered that took 20 minutes to deliver. We were still charges for the oatmeal. My brother got a cup of coffee in the lobby and requested the coffee station be refilled. 1 and 1/2 hours later it still was not refilled. It seemed like there was not enough staff to take care of the guests properly. I have no desire to return to your facility even though I have family within a mile of your establishment. Your prices were luxury, but the service was Walmart level.

Hotel was great. We stayed with our kids hockey team. Lots of recreation opportunities (tennis, basketball, etc...). Great breakfast buffet.

Was visiting the area for a family event. Really enjoyed this hotel. We are from this area and remember when the hotel was built many years ago. It has been beautifully updated and is in top condition. It offers all the latest amenities you would find in a brand new hotel. Comfortable beds, well appointed rooms, lovely lobby with a bar, Starbucks and restaurant with an excellent breakfast buffet. The staff was outstandingly warm and friendly (especially in The Cafe). Just about every type of restaurant you could possibly want is within a two mile radius as well as Chesterfield Mall, movie theaters and a variety of other shopping and conveniences. Will definitely choose The Doubletree for our next visit.

i was disappointed that for the money there was not a small grudge in the room. When I take kids I need to be able to keep a couple cold drinks available without having to drag a cooler along, which I did not do because I figured there would be a fridge available. There were also red "kool-aid" type stains on the bed sheets and black hairs in the bathroom shower and bathroom ceiling. That's plain gross.

Family trip to relax shop and swim with 3 girls under the age of 5. For some reason I was hesitant about this hotel, but it turned out to exceed my expectations. I was thinking the location was going to be further than I had hoped from shopping and conveniences. Also when we drove into Chesterfield and we had stayed at the Drury in the past, (Drury sits in the parking lot of Chesterfield Mall) and everything around is very nice.. driving up to the Doubletree, it looked dated. however walking into the property it is anything but dated, the lobby/coffee bar/convenience shop/cafe and pool areas were beautiful and all well maintained and made it feel like a resort stay. We loved the cabanas at the outdoor pool and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. We were also less than 2 miles from Chesterfield mall and less than a mile from a nice area with convenient shopping like Walgreens, a grocery store and a Charlie Gitto's from the Hill restaurant. The staff at the hotel and at the Cafe (diner) were very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel for families, I would also stay here with girlfriends or a romantic getaway with my husband.

This is the second time me and my husband have stayed here. We live in kansas city and drive to Chicago to see his family and this is a great stop in the middle of our driving trip. There is a great bar in the hotel were like to stop at for a night cap. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The shower is wonderful, the water pressure is amazing. We will be staying here again! Oh, and you get cookies when you check in, delicious!

Hotel is rather dated. Had three elevators, only one was functioning all weekend. Rooms are rather small. Has a nice gym and pool, however they close at 8pm on the weekends. Would not ever recommend for a family trip. Definitely geared toward business travelers.
