Red Roof Inn Cameron

The people running it were very kind and dedicated to having a nice property. The pool was super nice and my kids loved it. My son had a medical emergency that invovled an ambulance - they went above and beyond for my other boys while it was all happening and after.

We had a great member of the team check us in the night ee arrived. He was fantastic! Very well mannered and courtesy to us. However, the morning staff, seemed to have no patience with my children at the breakfadt area. She was rude when they spoke with her. The hotel was hot. When we arrived the a/c was off in our room and it took majority of the night to get the room cool. The beds were uncomfortable, but the heat of the room didnt help. The rooms were clean though, i will give them that. Also, very very limited breakfast options.

The rooms were very nice. The beds were confortable. We didn't go to the free breakfast because we were meeting family for breakfast.

Everything was okay. Staff had trouble keeping enough coffee during breakfast. Got surprised by additional charges for family traveling with even though we booked two queen beds.

Great bed. Good price. Did not charge extra for dogs. Clean. Walls are paper thin so bring earplugs. I wish people would understand when they are staying in hotels that being courteous is number one. Don’t let your door slam, your kids run in the halls or room, talk on your phone in the halls etc, etc. Courtesy people!!!

It was a great experience. The lobby and stairwell don't indicate how nice and clean the rooms are! The lobby and stairwell weren't dirty, just a bit aged compared to the rooms. I've never stayed in a place with laminate floors rather than carpet, and I really liked it. It seems to be a family run business, and everyone was so kind and helpful- excellent service. There is no elevator, so if you require accessibility considerations, be sure to indicate you need to be on the first floor. Overall a great experience and I'd highly recommend.

I don’t believe it was anything to write home about but it got the job done. The beds were amazing that’s for sure. I could have slept all day in that bed without guilt. I wasn’t much pleased with the room location. We had a room that was ground level so looking out the window all you see is a parking lot with a storage thing. I know that it wasn’t supposed to be a gorgeous view beings that it was in Cameron and it doesn’t exactly have a stunning view but it just kinda looked like a scene from a horror movie or something. It was just eerie. The service was lovely. When we needed something it was there as soon as we asked. The microwaves were a bit small but it worked in smaller increments. The shower heads were also short but could be adjusted to make it not so horrid. Overall it got the job done and I slept like a baby. Probably won’t be my first choice next time though.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A BABY! MY INFANT SPIT UP ON THE COMFORTER AND WE WERE CHARGED $100 BECAUSE APPARENTLY HIS SPIT UP SOAKED INTO THE MATTRESS (this doesn't happen at our house so I'm curious as to how it did this here) We stayed here for a week while my husband was doing a job. We stayed on the first floor and we parked directly in front of the window to our room. A guy followed my husband in his car watched him park then proceeded to get and walk to him and informed us that we needed to turn our truck around (my husband backed in) because there was several complaints about truck fumes going into the building. First off, we aren't the only truck backed in towards the window. And second off we've only moved our truck twice at the point in time. We never sat in it with it running. We cranked and drove off. We went to extend our stay and week and we were told that they couldn't do that until our room was serviced because we didn't do room service the week we were here. (keep in mind, I have an infant and a dog) I placed the trash cans outside our room door when they got full. I will NOT stay here again nor will I recommend this place. We've stayed at multiple hotels and have done the same at them as well and never had an issue. Other than that.. the room was clean but horrible customer service.
