No TV, spotty internet, toddler with flu, no coffee in the lobby for breakfast, associate everytime i passed by was hidden in office, and only after saying hello would he come out. All together, was terrible. Would not recommend!

Traveling with the grandkids and spent night here. Clean and comfortable.

This place was a nightmare. We noticed it was dirty and smelly when we checked in, but it was getting dark and we had promised our toddlers a trip to the playground as they'd been in the car all day. So we dropped off our things and left for awhile. Then when we returned we were anxious to cook up some food in the microwave and my daughter hurt her hand in a door. So we stayed to get ice on it and started the easy mac once things calmed down with the owie. Then I noticed that the room wasn't dirty. It was horrendous. There was a huge caking of mold/scum/filth on the AC unit. I almost threw up looking at it. Hairs, scum, sludge in the bathroom. Water stains. Bedding looked slept in when we pulled back the covers. Carpet not just stained but visibly covered in spills, hadn't been vacuumed, and every surface had visible smears and scum. We threw the food away, gathered our things, and checked out. We were offered another room and refused, preferring to sleep in our car than extract any number of illnesses and bugs that would surely be provided at the hotel. No I am not being dramatic, and we had made up our minds at the playground that we were too tired to look for another place that didn't stink and were going to suck it up and get some rest. The front desk employee was personable and friendly but not overly polite or accommodating.

Except for the cleaning staff which did a great job this hotel is very poorly run. I travel 60 nights per year and have stayed in hotels all over the country. Would never stay in this one again because the management staff allowed some guests to sit just outside the front door in lawn chairs with a cooler music and smoking pot on two different occasions during my stay. When I asked the management about it they said oh that’s just a group of guests that stay with us from time to time. On the second time of that happened I asked a different manager and he also took it lightly and said they probably shouldn’t be doing that but then did nothing about it. The owner of this hotel needs to get this place under control, if I drove up there to check in or if anybody did with their family and saw a front porch party going on at the entrance to the hotel literally by the front door, I would cancel my reservation and go somewhere else. There are plenty of nice hotels in Jackson don’t go to this one.
