Homewood Suites by Hilton Southaven

After checking in I was informed the pool was closed. This was for a shopping trip within an hour and half from home. I wasn't necessary to stay but the kids wanted to swim. They were extremely disappointed and cancelling wasn't an option cause she had already ran my card and it wasn't possible to cancel due to time anyways. The elevators did not work for the whole property as well. It was such a waste of a trip.

My kids and I had a wonderful stay over the weekend! Front desk staff were amazing! Great personality and ready to serve all through the day. Security guy was the coolest but you can sense that he was aware of everything and ready to protect. House keeping was always working with a smile. The breakfast time was perfect and the food was great! Hotel was lovely and clean and very family oriented. My daughter and I decided to go play basketball with some other guess and we had a blast. I love the energy at this place. Most definitely will suggest and stay in the future! Thanks Homewood for an amazing experience!:)

Great rooms for larger families. Loved the big bunk beds for everyone!

This hotel is beautiful and spacious for our family of four. The only issues we ran into were stopped up drains in the bathroom and sink. The water temperature also fluctuated a lot. Some days hot, other days luke warm. Lastly we had challenges with the room temperature. It felt like air conditioning and not heat. Overall, the stay was worth it! Breakfast was great and the front desk staff was always friendly. This is now our hotel to stay at when we visit South Haven.

Not able to listen to music and enjoy stay with the family

Shekeena was great and very pleasant. Security officer was too. The hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. My family had a wonderful time.

Everything was great. My family enjoyed it so well we are plaining another trip over there. The last trip was a business trip, this time it will be for the family.

There was only one major concern. Our room had some type of mildew smell as if water was leaking or old you are old stale water. I broke it to their attention and they tried to disregard me as if the room was clean and they didn't know what I was talking about. The carpet was sticky as if it haven't been shampooed or cleaned in years. I request that they cleaned our sweet again because I wasn't sure and I had my children. I received a little resistance but it got done but the smell still lingered. I have stayed on this property several times and now I will never return.

From the time I walked in I was impressed. I liked the modern lobby area and the tall ceilings by the lounge. The staff was genuine and so very professional. Great service as I checked in. It was clean everywhere I looked as well. My suite was everything I could have hoped for as I was hosting a 13th birthday slumber party for my daughter and her three friends. The suite had four queen sized bunk beads. I never even knew queen bunk beads existed. But it was perfect! The ceilings were higher than that of most hotels. The kitchen came equipped with dinnerware, silverware, stovetop, huge refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. And all stainless steel. It was indeed a home away from home! The next morning we had a great breakfast. Food was goodddd!! Everything was neat and clean! We checked out with ease. Oh and I like that the check out time is 12:00. That’s a big plus! Not only that, to make my stay even better they called me to let me know I left my art bag. I’ve stayed other places and left belongings (I know I need to do better about the that) and never received a call! All in all I would recommend Homewood Suites to my family and friends! We all had a great stay. We will be back!
