Grandstay Hotel Suites Thief River Falls

I dont normally complain but we drove over 9 hrs with 5 other rooms of people, several which were small children. After we checked in we were then told the pool was down, had we known before checking in we would have went elsewhere. Then not even 5 minutes into getting in our room our 3yr old found someones medication on the floor in plain view. When we brought this up to the staff we were pretty much blown off like we were full of it. Then when we were ready to shower we noticed we had not soaps of any kind, and really no bath linens. The breakfast was cold, dry, and empty at 7am and when we asked if more would be coming out we got attitude. We had 5 kids with us that were hungry. We also asked about syrup and the lady rolled her eyes and went to the bathroom where she was on her phone for almost 15 minutes. Sadly we were not the only ones bringing things up to the lady at the front desk but she acted like we were saying everything was ok. The overnight guy was great though. He tried to help out as much as he could.
