Grand View Lodge

It was such a wonderful place that I’m not sure I want to tell anyone about it. It was fun being around all the young families and watching the kids have such a good time. Sitting by the lake was one of the most relaxing things I’ve done in a while and there’s a Chocolate Ox less than 50 yards away!

A family wedding was planned at Grand View Lodge. Everything was perfect. Lovely room, good food and the chapel was beautiful. The Heritage Room for reception was light due to windows in the ceiling. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it.

A wonderful, beautiful family trip!

This was a amazing little resort, I’ve been coming up to this area my whole life and ended up needing a place to stay for one night up here cause plans fell through, we stumbled upon the lodge and it was amazing! We already have a trip to come back in the winter for a whole week because one night was not enough! The staff also were a huge help and soooooo nice! Definitely would recommend to anyone, couples or family or a quick get away!

A great getaway to relax with family. The cabins have been updated and were like an apartment for us to cook in. Very nice when we wanted to do that. Waterpark staff were not friendly each time we went, but the rest of the staff were helpful and all grounds crew workers smiled and waved.

Excellent family-friendly resort

Great stay just a few hours out of twin cities! There is so much to do that I wish we had more time to explore. Great for kids! There was some construction going on because they are building new cabins on the beach so, the view wasn’t always the best but at the same time my son loved watching all the construction vehicles. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I booked through Expedia but they didn’t have a room that was described. They were very nice and upgraded us to a cabin that was much more comfortable for 2 kids. Will try to make this an annual trip!
