Rapid River Lodge

The hotel was ok. Very bland/sterile in the hallways, needed artwork on the walls or something. Workers were extremely friendly. Water park is geared towards younger kids, but was nice.

This waterpark was perfect for my 7 year old who is still not a super swimmer! She was able to enjoy it without a life jacket as she could touch everywhere. My 11 niece also had a blast!!! Hotel was super clean and staff was great too! Highly recommend for a family trip of all ages! Smaller kids play section was great for little ones and up!

Stayed here 2 years ago and it’s so much better now. The waterpark is awesome, the kids had a blast. Lifeguards were super nice unlike some places. Front desk and breakfast staff was also friendly with a smile! Will be back!

Water park was fun and clean! Didn’t have a heavy chlorine smell! Staff overall was very nice and accommodating. Only issue we had, was the lady working the breakfast area was unkind and impatient. She got noticeably frustrated at multiple people who maybe didn’t understand how to use the pancake machines. She made a rude comment to my 6 year old who obviously didn’t realize he was accidentally making 8 pancakes. He pressed the start button too many times and she got mad. She looked at him and rudely said “are you seriously going to eat 8 pancakes?” I then quickly walked over and said I don’t think he did it on purpose but we won’t waste them don’t worry. The next morning same thing happened with a few other families and she got very upset.

This is a great hotel at an affordable price. I stayed during the week on a Thursday night so the water park stuff for kids was closed which was perfect for my stay. Clean, quiet, convenient and priced great.

Was an awesome overnight stay my grandkids really enjoyed the waterpark and quick breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean and updated besides the doors to the bathroom need replacing bottom of the door has water damage a good foot up the door. Also there was a used straw left under the edge of the bed on the floor. TV was also quite small for the room size. Breakfast was good loved the yogurt dispenser but the coffee and orange juice was so watered down and didn't taste good. Pool area was clean and kids had fun. Definitely would stay again.

The water park is great for small and older kids. Plus they put a foam type of floor down so its really nice to walk on. Would definately go back!

The updated water park is great, the flooring really does wonders for little kids to prevent slipping. Our only complaint is the level of chlorine in the pool area. My children and I started coughing and had burning eyes from the chlorine. They finally started to warn people if they were getting red,rash or cough to leave the pool area for fresh air. This is concerning.

The water park has way too much chlorine leaving my family coughing (5 people), eyes burning (5), skin had chemical burns (2), hives (1) and nauseous (1).
