I actually was comfortable in this hotel and felt safe. It was very clean and smells great. I’ll definitely come back and stay again if I needed to be there in Minnesota for family reasons and or friends. Keep up the great hospitality and great work. Giving this hotel a rare 5 star

Stayed at this brand new Fairfield just 2 weeks after it opened, as part of a family trip to see Wicked at the Orpheum. Easy to find the hotel, easy walking distance not only to the theater but to tons of other downtown Minneapolis attractions. Beds were super comfy, staff bent over backwards to ensure our stay was everything we needed. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The staff member who checked us in was excellent, however the room was very blah. King size bed was true to size but wasn't very comfortable. You might as well have not given me any pillows because the pillows were so soft you sunk through them. The parking is kind of messy too. You have to park on the opposite side of a fence that you have to completely walk around to get back to the hotel only feet away. Overall I'd say if you planned to stay one night it is a decent hotel. Anything longer than that simply isn't worth it. I also would be cautious of bringing kids simply because of the large homeless population. Although most are harmless they are every where, so be cautious.
