Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Romulus

The jacuzzi had so much chlorine that most of my family got sick and the stuff was very nonchalant about it even when I called corporate it was disregarded I believe we had chorine poisoning and the front desk said they tested the water but I know it should read for less the the pool the general manager said it tested correctly but me and my 8 yr old throw up and my to cousin throat and chest and throat was burning we checked out a day earlier

Spent one night here with my family on a Sunday. No complaints. Hotel appeared clean. Room was very clean. Comforters and pillows were actually more comfortable than mine at home LOL. For having a parking lot full, it was very quiet. Pool area clean and we were the only ones in there for 95% of the time. Staff was friendly. Good price. Had a nice variety of breakfast foods before we left. Check-out time was at noon which was really nice since many other hotels have 1100 check-out times. Would stay here again.

Hotel was very convenient for me to get to and from the airport and visiting with my family members.

Good for a nights stay. Hot tub and pool were working so the kids enjoyed that.

This property is close to the Airport, which makes it great for layovers or short-term stays, but for recreational vistors, this means the noise of constant air traffic interrupting hope for peace/tranquility. The rooms and facilities were clean and proper, but the pool is very small, and the water was very cold. Staff is efficient, but maid service ignored the indicator to tend to the room one of the days, and the front desk staff is professional, but not overly friendly. I definitely recommend this for flyers needing a place to rest or hold up during layovers/delays, but wouldn't recommend it for tourists, vacationers, families, etc.
