Sugar Beach Resort Hotel

The beach access and lounge chairs and umbrellas are excellent and why we chose to stay. The indoor pool is large as well with kid timings until 10 pm. The box breakfast should be advertised as such. If I had known that I would not have booked. It is not a hot breakfast - my kids and I missed that comfort usually offered at US hotels. The rooms are okay. The service was lovely.

The room was clean. My issue was the amount of noise and lack of sleep that was gotten because of it. Our room was located right above the lobby and next to a family who was on the loud side. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything inside and out. All night long you could hear traffic from the main road, car doors slamming, people coming and going from the lobby below.

No real complaints, this is our second time back to Sugar Beach and we enjoyed! All areas were clean, and the staff are both friendly and helpful. Not having to deal with wet towels is also a major plus for me when going to the beach and really helped keeping sand out of the room. My only wish would be to have more communal sitting for meals, we don't always like to eat at restaurants but the options for sitting at a table to share a meal is just one table at the entrance to the beach so if another family is sitting there back to your room you go. There is some sitting in the lobby area but no tables.

The breakfast in the beginning, I thought it was a great idea because it was going to be delivered to our door, but once we received it, it was not a lot of choices and not a lot of choices for kids only one type of cereal that’s crazy. Our room was very dusty, not clean at all the table where we needed to eat was filthy. Good thing we bought Lysol wipes, better lighting, maybe some ceiling fans and garbage cans for recyclables.

The hotel was lovely. It was in a great location, had a beautiful little beach and had everything we needed for a great stay. My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and I enjoyed our view. We had a suite and it was just lovely.

I am so thankful that we decided to stay at Sugar Beach Resort Hotel! Check in was super easy. We loved having breakfast delivered to our door in the morning. The beautiful beach was the icing on the cake. It was a perfect room for our family and we can't wait to return!

Overall the hotel was okay. The pool and hot tub were also a good place, also for our kids. The breakfast gets delivered to your room. All pre-packed things, but not very tasty. We had quite some stains on bed covers (some blood) and old spilled coffee on drawers. The staff was helpful and friendly.

We went for spring break and though it was chillier than we would have liked the beach was absolutely beautiful. Our stay was fine, it was just an okay stay. I saw a lot of complaints about the breakfast and to be honest with you, the breakfast was fine. There are definitely things that need to be addressed at the hotel, but like everywhere else, they are short staffed and that's going to always be the answer for every situation. We had a couple of hiccups, but the two ladies at the front desk were wonderful and took care of things for us. I'll mention this just because my kids were looking forward to it and they were quickly let down when we arrived. The arcade is just a small room with a few games, I think tiny game room, not arcade. All in all, it's a good place to stay if you want to be on the beach.

Perfect place for family vacation.

We always have a good experience when we stay at Sugar Beach! It's close to restaurants, shopping, and my daughter loves the indoor pool! We got the Junior suite this time and it's perfect for a small family. Spacious bathroom with separate shower and bath and even had a TV in the bathroom. My daughter thought that was so cool!
