Pointes North Beachfront Hotel

Very outdated. Various areas of the room was hard on the eyes for the price. Didn't know if the red marks were blood or crayon from young children on the bathroom shelf across from toilet. Mini fridge cracked, microwave didn't work properly. Screen door overlooking beach view difficult to close. Burn mark on bathroom sink (non-smoking room). Breakfast was all cold to go food only apples was the available fruit. Not a friendly atmosphere for those of color.

We recently stayed for a long weekend and we were so impressed! The staff is accommodating, informative and so welcoming. The property is great for families and the beach was fantastic. Comfy beds as well. A short drive to dining options and shopping. The rooms are a bit dated but that didn’t bother us at all. I would recommend as a great place to stay!

Hotel is nice. Room was clean, we’re right on the beach. Office staff was very friendly. I brought my wife and two kids. I was in meetings the whole day and they spent time shopping and combing the public beaches. The room was perfect for our needs. Good quality for the price. Private beach. A north wind brought in a bunch of junk, but that stretched the whole TC landscape. I will return.

Not what we expected. Very outdated and old. Check in was easy but checking out took forever. I ended up just laying key on desk and leaving. I wasn’t waiting any longer as front desk person was in long conversation. Room was clean but looked dirty because of being so old. Noisy people upstairs, above us they were smoking pot on deck and just poured into our room. We couldn’t even sit on deck without being smoked out. Tub was barely working and very old and dingy . All the sinks were plugged and not drain. Disappointing as this was suppose to be a romantic getaway for the night from kids. We used up our rewards for this dump.

It was a fine stay, the view was good and the price was right for the type of room. It is right off a main road so you hear all the traffic at night. The suite we stayed in had several maintenance issues that should be taken care of (outlet cover missing, toilet constantly running, knob missing on jacuzzi tub, drain not working properly, etc.). It was the family suite and in one of the closets there were cleaning products and paint, I was surprised this type of stuff wasn't locked up or on a higher shelves in case kids are staying in there. There isn't much for breakfast. I would not stay here for the summer prices, for winter prices it was okay.
