Booked this overnight stay so the grandkids could go swimming. When we got there we found out the pipes had burst in the pool room days go. Wouldn’t even lend us towels when I took the kids to the rec center to swim to stop the crying. We have done this annual stay here for four years, and the pool has been down twice. Will book elsewhere in the future.

We visit family in Lapeer a couple times each year. There are two hotels. We have found that the Holiday Inn has friendlier staff, cleaner rooms, and better internet than the competitor. We are only at the hotel to sleep and shower for the most part, so either one has served us fine. They are small town businesses, no need to expect the Ritz.
