Stayed for a family event, was able to stay a little later than usual checkout after asking at the desk, and no extra charge!

I didn't like paying for a suite and not having enough towels (none were in pool area either) for my family. My room sleeps 7 and theres only 5 of us. I dont like using a sofa bed and having no bedding or pillows anywhere in the room. I don't like having crushed water bottles in my closet. I dont like having to ask for all these things and then be told I can't get them because theres no one to bring them to me. I would have went anywhere else.

Everything was great…until we went to use the pool at 9am in the morning. We’d been told it opened at 6am and were told it wouldn’t open until 2pm. The explanation given was that the pool had been “overused” the night before and the water level was too low. The night before my 2 children and I were the only people in the pool. The whole reason we went to a hotel in our own town was to use the pool. Needless to say my kids and I were very disappointed.

The rooms we stayed in were huge, which was great for our family of 4. The pool was broken and getting fixed the day we stayed which was a disappointment. The breakfast was great with lots of option.

The stay was nice but the pool was freezing. When kids tell you teh pool is to cold it is to cold because they will swim in almost freezing water. The pool was absolutely numbing. For the price you pay a night they should be able to afford a heater for the pool.

Close to town but off the main road. Overall clean and good food. Good service. Could use more seating for breakfast. Could enforce some pool rules as some kids were very roudy.

First time at this Hampton Inn and greatly pleased. Room was very nice and clean. The air in the heater was even clean! Have had nights at other hotels in MI with bad smelling rooms that gave me sinus headaches for days. Not this time! Easy access, quiet night, and wonderful breakfast!! My new favorite hotel chain! And we will definitely stay at this one the next trip up to see the grandchildren.
