Hampton Inn Cadillac

The last few hotels I have stayed at were kind of a nightmare. From really dirty/grotesque facilities to extremely noisy hotel guests that were partying at one hotel and some were fighting at another into all hours of the night. Mind you, I always pick “nicer” areas and hotels that at least have decent ratings but obviously there’s a lot of false advertisement in that bc it hasn’t been what it was advertised. On top of the fact that I travel with my 1.5 year old, so you can imagine the worry and discomfort and disappointment and not to mention ANGER that I felt during these stays. Keeping my baby awake all night from loud party noises to being worried about the fights/arguments taking place right outside our door and hotel staff not doing anything about it. I was starting to lose faith in hotels and starting to grow weary of traveling. But my stay at this Comfort Inn recently was a breath of fresh air! The facility was super clean upon arrival, the gentleman that checked me in was very pleasant, the room was clean, and most importantly of all, IT WAS QUIET! I was somewhat worried bc my daughter and I were located right by the stairwell… but luckily for us I think most people prefer the elevator these days lol. The continental breakfasts every morning were wonderful, the. Breakfast staff were so sweet and welcoming, the food was cooked great and they kept everything stocked so well during the morning rush. The breakfast area was kept clean during it all as well! I Recommend!

I booked this hotel over a less expensive hotel available in the area because it advertised a fitness center. When I went to use the facility, my key would not work. I was told by the front desk that it was closed because there were so many kids in the hotel. I then asked for a survey which was unavailable as well. While the hotel is clean and comfortable, they need to advertise truthfully. I certainly would not have this hotel if I’d known the exercise facility would be closed for my visit as there were cheaper options available.

The hotel is going through a remodel, but the staff is excellent. They were friendly, welcoming and did a great job of accommodating all the customers (hockey players were there) by keeping the "youngsters" on a separate floor.

They worked with me at check-in to get three gift cards and a credit card for the reservation. It took splitting the reservation and two hotel staff working in conjunction to achieve results. They brought extra pillows for my grandchildren. Lastly, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.

We heard the TV, shower and door opening and closing next door along with the noise in the hallway. Made it somewhat difficult for sleeping. There were 3 of us and each commented on this. Pool and hot tub were overly crowded - not sure what was going on with all the kids at 10:00 p.m.

The room was very comfortable, the mattress could use an update, but the gal at the reception area said that updates are coming soon to the entire hotel. I am excited to see what they do! The many Comfort Inns I have stayed at over the years are very welcoming, comfortable, and a pleasant place to stay. This Inn is my go-to place to stay when visiting family and friends.
