Beachfront Hotel

All the staff were friendly. The front desk staff, breakfast staff, and housekeeping staff were all wonderful. The free breakfast was also very satisfying. They also had boiled eggs, which my kids love, which was a great help. The guest rooms were well cleaned and comfortable. The bathrooms in particular were the best. I always want to soak in a clean bathtub, and that was possible here. The shower booth and bathtub are separate, so I was able to relax in the bathtub after cleaning myself in the shower booth. I would like to stay here again if I'm in the area.

Very nice place, quiet, no kids running around at night, view of the lake is spectacular. Will definitely stay again!!

When we checked in the receptionist was very rude, detached, irritable and even confrontational. We had come a long way with an infant and just needed some answers to their cable TV since we came to view a NFL playoff game and couldn’t find it on their channels. We ended up leaving the hotel and stopping at a sports bar and asking our question. All service was average at best. Just seemed like the employees hated to be there.

The employees were polite and friendly. Only reason I gave the hotel this rating is because we had blood on the pull out couch all over the sheets, a huge urine stain on the bed and the jet tub , when filled had a bunch of sand in it. It looked clean at first but when my family went to go to bed we realized it was extremely dirty. Told people after finding out and then after check out. They did nothing. Called expedia afterwards and all they did was offer a voucher. For afew dollar's off. And didnt give me back my points saved qnd used towards the hotel.

We’ve stayed here several times while visiting family in the area. We tried a couple of other hotels but prefer the Beachfront. They are always friendly, coffee available, clean comfortable rooms, and a free continental breakfast. They even let us checkin a little early this visit due to time conflicts with family.

Love everything about this place the staff all of it except the black family that smoked weed everywhere that could be smelled constantly throughout the place that same family taking all the pastries well just about all they could carry back to their room back and forth many times every morning. Rap music being played all day. It would have been nice to have more variety each morning for breakfast like eggs and bacon etc. but we would have probably never got any anyway because of the family that felt entitled that the place was only there’s. We will be back but not if this becomes the standard.

Nice room. Everything was clean. Loved the lake view and ability to sit on the balcony! Only disappointed in not having a comfortable chair in the room. Another member of our family had a nice chair in their room. Because of my back, I can't always make it through the night in bed. I know not all hotels have comfortable chairs and our room did not, but I saw one in our sons room. Definitely wish every room had one.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Some problem with musty smells. The staff were so friendly! Breakfast was good would be nice if they had some more hot items like meats and eggs. Waffles were delicious! We would stay again and highly recommend it to family and friends. Looks exactly like the pictures!

The stay was just overnight to take a family member to Detroit for a medical procedure. Beachfront worked out great for us

We stayed for one night so kids could swim and we could go out for NYE. Check-in was fast, but Mandy at the front desk is very unfriendly. We had interaction with her earlier in the day and then at check-in. I realize people have bad days, but our other 2 friends who checked in felt the same way about her attitude. Usually we have a good experience here with staff at the desk. You really should train your housekeeping staff for the front desk as they were very friendly every time we saw them throughout our stay. Room was nice with view of the lake but very hot. Even with furnace off we had to open the door, and it was only 5 degrees out! New shower which was nice with good water pressure. We will stay again because the location is perfect.
