Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Belleville, an IHG Hotel

Urine stains all over bed with other stainage. And then had the audacity to keep my incedental fee. When me and my children slept on yellow urine stains the first night outta three. Then took 5 hours to change them! I do not recommend.

Decent motel for the price. Night staff was a little washy, but the next morning staff was great. Lots of blue collar workers sleeping off from work so the hotel is nice and quiet early. Didn’t get the chance to use the pool, there was a couple families that were letting their kids go buck wild and scream the whole time. No biggie, I love seeing kids have fun, I just know I would not have enjoyed the constant screaming while in there, so I skipped it. Overall, would stay here again for a quick overnight.

I like the Holiday Inn's pool, and their close proximity to the airport and family. Love the upgrades since my last stay 4 years ago. Staff is very attentive. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Michigan.

It was nice and close to a lot of things, food and shopping. But the thing we didn’t like was too many kids in the hot tub, couldn’t relax like we wanted. Then the construction was just in the way and took up some of the amenities.

I liked the girl at the front desk, she was friendly and helpful. I didnt like that there are tarps everywhere from the construction, the lobby is hard to navigate with instructions being given to go around the hanging tarp, past the flag pole and around another hanging tarp to find the elevator. The room is missing any type of extra pillows or blankets for the fold out bed - which we discussed we would be using with staff. Parking was inconvenient, very minimal near the building, had to park in the next hotel lot over and carry our family of 6's bags across the lots. The pool was mediocre, the only notable thing was the wall to ceiling glass windows that opened up the space a lot. The hotel room feels very cold, flat, and uncomfortable...even with the recent updates. I asked for a crib which was brought up and the sheet on it was badly stained with some type of brown residue...it was clear it hadnt been washed. I wouldnt return, even if the updates were complete.

The pros of the trip were that the beds were comfortable and the room was very clean but a little dated. We had an issue with the shower/tub but were able to get by. And now for the cons, I am not sure if there was an event going on nearby but there appeared to be entire youth baseball team staying at the hotel that night. Children were unruly and running all around the place, including the lobby area and hallways as well as playing in the elevator, the pool area had 50 plus kids with no supervision and the lobby was full of parents with coolers drinking a lot while watching the U of M v State basketball. I wish I had a video to post as it was literally a three-ring circus and the staff did nothing to get control over the situation even though there were complaints by some adults. While the halls did seem to quiet down a bit after midnight, the most concerning issue to me was the hotel places an emphasis on all the side doors being locked 24/7 and they absolutely were not! I more than likely will bypass this hotel in the future and go someplace else.

Really enjoyed the pool area with my children and the staff was really friendly and courteous.

This is a great place for families. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the buffet breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

There was a large sports team staying and sadly towards the end of the night the adults congregated in the front lobby area in large groups, drunk and loud. The small children were literally running all over the halls, up and down the stairs yelling and knocking on peoples doors and running away until 1am!! I've never seen anything like it at any hotel and I've stayed in so many hotels all over the U.S. The whole baseball team and the associated families were extremely inconsiderate of other guests staying. My kids couldn't even swim because the pool was so crowded. Worst part is the staff allowed it.
