This place is run down. The nicest staff, but the rooms are rundown. The elevators were not working this time, nor was our bathroom light. It’s clear there is no money being invested in the place and it’s worn- lights flickering, food on the carpets, chips in the shower while walls, door jams and doors are filthy. Last time we will stay here. There are families living here long term which might explain the lack of interest by management to invest in its upkeep.

We had a great stay. There were three of us and we stayed for 5 nights. The location was ideal as we were visiting family at Harvard. We had about a 20-25 minute drive depending on traffic. Our room and the pool were clean. The breakfast offerings each morning were good. The staff was friendly. The only improvement could have been the cleanliness of the common areas like the hall ways, lobby, and elevator.

We booked a room with two beds because we were staying as a family. Our room wasn’t ready 90 minutes after our planned check in time. We got a room with one king and a pull out couch. The pool was closed down soon after we checked in (we saw a family using it during check in). They sent us to a neighboring hotel which was a nice option. However the neighboring hotel was doing swim lessons for children, so we had to come back later. The shower floor was significantly cracked. The prior Element that we stayed in had a fresh smell in the air in all common areas - as if aromatherapy was being pumped into the air. This one did not. Having said all of this, the bed was magically comfortable!

We did not receive the type of room we had reserved. Mattress should have been replaced long ago. We stay here often because of proximity to family but the mattresses are ALWAYS a disaster.

A fantastic stop for the whole family! The staff was friendly, the room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The cooking set up for the room was really nice and had plenty of prep space. Loved that it is dog friendly.

This is our go to lodging for the past 4 years when we visit family in Waltham. We enjoy the spacious rooms and kitchenette. Great staff and services. But the rooms are starting to show some wear and tear, specifically bathroom fixtures such as hooks and holders loose, missing light switch cap, doors not closing. Small things.

The room was of excellent size and comfort for the price. You could see that some of the furniture was worn and older, but the bed was so comfy. It was also fairly quiet, though I knew there were families there, having heard them when I was in the hall and seeing them in the lobby.

This is a very nice hotel, with a very good breakfast. The room was huge, with a couch and a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the room was very clean. There were a couple of small maintenance issues (seal on the shower door, leaky faucet), but nothing that impacted our stay. We haven't stayed in a full hotel in a while, so the sound of drunk people in the hall when the bar closed and the sound of children running up and down the hall were unexpected, but other than that the room was quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
