Aloft Lexington

I’ll never stay here again as long as I live! Check in process was OK except I had a hotel worker asking me for too many questions about my stay and what I was there for and why am I honeymoon by myself. My husband showed up later Room was dirty. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. There were no smaller towels in the bathroom. Hair underneath the blanket which was not mine or my husband. There were smaller towels in the room. We called down to get an extra blanket brought up and that took about 3040 minutes took another 30 to 40 minutes. I also asked for some toothpaste and toothbrush and took about 25 minutes. Bathroom sliding door is a hazard and my finger got stuck in it. The market was completely unstocked. There was nothing to eat , there wasn’t even plastic diningware for the food we ordered out. when I asked the front desk for it took him 20 minutes. So we decided to go swimming in the heated pool and we went down there and it was 730 on a Sunday night our honeymoon and the door was locked and there were some sort of supervised swimming going on with people swimming laps. It was so loud including a lot of screaming and I could hear everything on the other side, which was a bunch of kids running around so much noise and people that were smoking in the hallway. Supposed to be last night and we don’t have a lot of money and it was a complete disaster to this place .

Really thought the convenience for us visiting a family member in Lexington as good as we could have hoped for. We had stayed at an Aloft in SC so the rooms and amenities were similar. There is no housekeeping during the visit - fine since I was with my son. I'd recommend some attention to the pool area as some furniture was in disrepair and just tidying up the area as it appears it's an afterthought. The staff was very friendly but thought the whole place could be picked up - for example trash cans overflowing and towels and empty bottles just need to picked up.

We booked this hotel because we wanted to stay in the Lexington area. The location couldn’t be any better. We were only a 30 minute ride into the city. After a long day (also traveling with 2 toddlers) we decided to order take out and eat in the hotel lobby. The bartender Jim was super helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be back.

Our family stayed for 3 days. We liked the staff on the property. We did not like our room door would stick there were stains on curtians. We did not like that the mattress moved around on the platforms. We had to ask for Toilet paper and garbage bags. If we wanted the room cleaned we had to tell them to clean it. There was supposed to be a restaurant on property. The restaurant was microwaved foods.

Traveling with family and a dog. Convenient. Staff friendly and professional. Pool was great. Room and hotel very clean. Breakfast easy.
