Castle Manor Inn

When we arrived at the Inn (at 4 pm), there was nobody there and the door was locked (even though check-in was between 3:00-6:00). I called the number and left a message, but nobody called me back. My family ended up looking for another place to stay. When I called the following day, they were not apologetic and informed me that there had been a box with a key to the room to the right of the front door. That would have been useful to know when I arrived.

The beds were so comfortable! I actually checked the mattress and realized it was the same as mine at home 🙌 Also the family suite was perfect for our family of four. So nice to give us parents a little privacy and give the kids their own space.

The main house is nice and the overall landscape of the place is beautiful. The rooms were ok. Maybe a 5/6 out of 10. The outdoor lights attract all the bugs and when you open the door, you have invited tons of bugs. The pillows were uncomfortable but not sure if thats every room. The bathroom door didnt lock and there really was nothing in the room. Two beds, tv and dresser. That is it and for the price, i got more amenities at a motel 6 for half the cost. Then the killer was you can hear everything. The people upstairs from us were making so much noise into 4am, just them moving around everything was just horrible. I mean if you want quiet, great place but when you pay the same as you pay for a junior suite at the sheraton and you get less then what a motel 6 offers, unfortunately you get a very generous 2.5 stars. Ill bump it to 3 stars for the outside quietness and landscape and ease of check in and check out.
