Hotel Commonwealth

We chose to stay at this hotel because it was close to Fenway Park, and we are so glad that we did! The moment we walked through the door we were greeted warmly at the front desk,and they did their best to accommodate us with early check in. The staff at this hotel is absolutely incredible! We were given waters and snacks at check in, later when we left for our game and it was raining they offered us ponchos. They really go out of their way to make sure your stay is wonderful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel has it's own restaurants, but was within a minutes walk to Starbucks, Dunkin and McDonald's if you want a quick bite or coffee. Fenway was a five minute walk. Our family has a wonderful stay and would stay here again!

The hotel was nice but the staff was AMAZING! They are so accommodating and kind. We came with our 10 year old and Nicholas made it so special for him. He shared stories and made him feel like he was only kid there. We will come back. And we will stay here for sure.

Very nice rooms in a great location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave my family a free upgrade to a mini-suite which was perfect for our group of 3. Great home base for Boston-area college visits and general site-seeing.

S at the front desk is an amazing employee and so wonderfully friendly and helpful. We were moving our child into Boston University, and I believe we will be staying at the Hotel Commonwealth every time we visit Boston! Seriously cannot say enough about all of the staff and especially S.

My only complaint is that the pictures make the hotel appear to have a terrace overlooking the stadium. On arrival we found out that this is only used for private parties. The pictures are a bit misleading, as we thought when we booked this hotel that this would be an exciting experience for our baseball loving kids. Staff was excellent, informative and willing to help whenever they were able!

We brought the family to a Red Sox game. Normally we would drive in and drive out but I decided we should stay. We could not have picked a better location. Close to the park, clean hotel, nice accommodating staff. The area surrounding the hotel is great. Awesome stay.

Our stay was exceptional! The staff was friendly, helpful and always courteous. We had two young children with us and it was quite hectic during marathon week. But the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I would highly, highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location for Fenway and the Boston marathon and exploring the city on the T. Room had a great view and sofa bed for the kids worked out great.

We almost hate to rave about how amazing Hotel Commonweath always is because we have always felt it was our little secret. They treat us like family, we almost regret sharing our secret because we treasure the intimate feel of this glorious hotel. It offers all the amenities of a huge hotel chain, but the staff treats you like you are part of the family. Even though it can pricey during certain times (like the Boston Marathon) we pay to stay there because we cannot imagine staying anywhere else. Nick, Frank, Steve, Jeff and the rest of the folks there are AMAZING. We even had to call ahead this year to alter a small detail with our reservation. The young lady who answered the phone was quickly able to solve an issue when we thought we had made the reservation in my name when we had actually made it in my husband's name. This is surprising because we have two different names, so this clearly speaks to the quality of their customer service. And in an era where so many places have lousy customer service, Hotel Commonwealth has FABULOUS customer service!
