Our room wasn't ready until just after 4pm after requesting an early check-in online. The property is very worn. Not a great value although we appreciated the parking as well as the breakwater view. Hair on a bathroom towel was a turnoff. No shampoo in the dispenser. Terrible wifi. Breakfast was pricey for a buffet but the 2 wait staff were terrific. Probably a solid stay for a young family, but not great for a couple of well-traveled geezers.

We arrived shortly after check in time and our room wasn’t ready. We didn’t get our room until after 8pm. There was still trash in our room from previous guests and only 3 towels when we were registered as a family of 4. The room location was perfect for have a 5 and 7 yo and it is super convenient to get in and out of town. So many activities to keep everyone busy - big plus!

Do NOT stay at.this hotel if you have a senior citizen with you because the bldg is so old there is NO elevator and no where does it say anywhere there is no elevator on the hotels website nor hotels.com site. My wife is 77 yrs old and had to carry all the luggage by myself two flights of stairs. Why! Because there was NO help from the hotel, they had a young kid working reception who refused to help. When I got to the hotel at 2:30 in the afternoon I was very nice with the lady at check in maybe there was a room available earlier. When I asked she rolled her eyes and gave me a dirty look and then said are you serious? We had a wedding over the weekend and we have a lot to clean up. I could not believe the absolute rudeness. When I asked the young kid at reception to change my room to the first floor, he said he was not authorized to do make the change. Not rocket science to keep customers happy. Was told I would receive a phone call when my room was ready never got one, the kid called the wrong number after I repeated it to the previous receptionist twice. This place is old,.outdated, rude and does not live up to the advertised site. Extremely disappointing and will never stay here again....

Maybe they need to help the people and understand that guest with a baby should not be on top floor and dirty room

Our first impression was that the Inn was in serious need of updating and way overpriced for what we were looking at. Our expectations were low, but we decided to stick it out for the 2 days we reserved. Over the course of our stay, our negative first impression softened. While some modernization of the decor would give patrons a better first impression, the Inn was clean, the staff was friendly and very attentive, and the location was wonderful. The room was so soundproof that we couldn’t hear the crying baby in the room next door. We did not take advantage of the restaurant or pool. The price was similar to other places in P-town during the summer, so no serious complaints about that. Overall, the Provincetown Inn provided us a pleasant stay.

Cool old property looked and smelled that way. Images of a pool with rooms right next to it sold us on booking. Didn't know there were different weeks. Showed up during kids week. I support the concept, but came to associate with travel gays. Ending up trying to avoid screening kids and disgusted by the moldy smell everywhere. My partner was reminded of "The Shining' by the hotel. Price for value very low. The high point was the lovely accommodating staff. They have that going for them, and a beautiful location.

Cannot get near the pool. Would have been nice to know that anyone in P-Town can access the pool. Could not bring a family to your hotel. Bathrooms are extremely small. Ours showed signs of mold. Not recommended for the cost.

I love it here. Been here twice. Does not disappoint. Beds are full, not queen. Make sure you are facing the breakwater though. The pool parties are not for families.

This hotel is great for families. I went with my two teens and we loved the pool, the bar/music and grill at the pool, the beach, and the jetty that leads out from the hotel. Easy and free parking is a big plus. Rooms that open out are better. Breakfast staff was a bit meh, but the rest of the staff was awesome. Will stay here again.

This hotel is ok, has a lot of parking and is on the beach and has a pool. The rooms are dated but clean. The free breakfast is ok but not much to choose from. It is a far walk to the main part of town. Nothing much doing at night in this hotel and does not have that new england style like the other places on the main strip. it is family friendly but the pool is also used by outsiders and can become crowded. The drinks are expensive but the pool side food is good. All and all is was okay but the next time I would apt to stay closer to town.
