We went there for the hot tub and when we got there, they informed us it was broken. It was not a resort at all. There were no grounds areas for kids to play. Not a resort feel. We did not sleep there. The room was very basic and not worth the money.

We are frequent visitors to Meadowmere - Our last visit was this past weekend (02/22-02/242024) and it happened to be school break week. Our generally tranquil resort was turned in to a children's playground. It was VERY busy. The staff handled the crowds well - while they did run out of towels a couple of times the front desk was very helpful in finding more or getting them washed. We love Meadowmere but we will check the school vacation schedule before our next visit.

We’ve stayed at this resort for years and it’s always been a favourite. We noticed that this year it isn’t in as good condition. There were weeds around the hot tub etc. The rooms in the country squire building are cheaper but it shows. The air conditioner was noisy, had a smell and couldn’t keep up with the humidity. I found a sock beside the night table so obviously the room was cleaned very well. The movie theatre is very nice but they showed the same 4 movies everyday and most of them were children’s movies which was disappointing. With a bit more tlc, this could return to being a great resort.

Parking was terrible. Office staff wonderful and helpful. Housekeeping showed up to room 5 minutes before checkout time while boyfriend was in shower, we didn’t check in until 945pm the night before we just needed a few minutes. I mean for the price of almost 600 a night you should at least get a bottle of water in your room. Went to their pub at 1130am for a Bloody Mary and was told rudely that they don’t open until 12. The pub had 1 bartender and 1 kitchen worker so to get 2 drinks and appetizer was 40 mins. Bed was comfortable. Small outside pool. Chairs are close to pool so you get splashed when kids are jumping in. There is an indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. Really it’s a place where parents just let their kids run around. Not special enough for the money

They need a bigger parking. We were on the 1st floor and they put kids on 2nd floor so all the kids did all night was run around so you couldnt get any sleep. The carpet in room was diety place is outdated. Wouldnt stay there again, paid $240 for 1 night & it wasnt worth it. The restaurant in property ran out of food. Not worth the rice!

This was our first time staying at Meadowmere and overall it was great! The room seemed to have been newly renovated (or at least not too long ago), the bed was comfy, the room was clean. We loved using the gas fireplace. The resort is close to restaurants and shops. We walked to breakfast by the beach on our first morning in Ogunquit. My fiancé used the gym and said it was better equipped than planet fitness! The indoor pool area was fantastic and they had both hot tubs open. The outdoor one was a little too crowded and rowdy for us, so we hung out in the Roman Spa. This might have been my favorite feature!
The only thing that was disappointing was the pub on night one. We arrived for dinner and drinks at around 7, after driving up from Boston. There appeared to be only one person working there as bartender and server. This might have been ok if there were not many people, but place was pretty packed with what seemed to be an extended family in town for a wedding and just got busier busier as we drank our first beer. We had to track the server down to order, it took about an hour for our food to come (chicken tenders, fries, and a salad) and the fries were cold. This was in no way the staff person’s fault- he was very friendly and accommodating but is only one person. I do hope they hire an extra person to help him out out front.
With that one negative, I’d highly recommend this resort to anyone. But I would caution against going to the pub hungry on a busy night.
