The room was clean but dated like most of the hotels in a coastal town... The staff was very nice. My husband liked the coastal old fashioned decor, not so much for my taste, but the price was good for our budget. They did have a beautiful flower garden that was great for photos. It was east to find right off the main highway. We had breakfast at Bell the Cat, which the hotel recommended and it was excellent. Young's lobster pound is down the street and the lobster is excellent there. It also had a beach that was rocky but some families were in the water. We would probably stay there again in one of the little cottages.

Our cottage was absolutely perfect. Clean, beautiful, full kitchen, beds were comfortable, bathroom was big, with washer/dryer. Deck was peaceful ~ living room/TV was great for a family movie, which we had. The living room was on opposite side of bedrooms too ~ no noise!

Very nice Cottage, with a wonderful view and so peaceful... Will recommend it to anyone. The playground for the kids is a plus. And the walks on the beach are wonderful. Well equipped to cook .

Friendly staff, right on the beach, play ground for kids, few other activities for adults amd older kids. My 2nd time here and plan to continue staying there again.

It was amazing. What a beautiful place for family with kids and dogs. I just came home yesterday and I was already looking to book Labor Day weekend but unfortunately no available cottage for a family of 6 :( Hopefully someone cancels. Love love love it here.

We were in the area for a family baby shower;so we were looking for a place that met our needs.And was affordable👏 I read all the other reviews did some web inquires and it looked like it would meet our needs for a overnight stay.And was close to the ocean...oh those ocean breezes...lovely view from all areas of the cottage..I so wish I could have had more time to enjoy the other amenities. We would book again when we are in the area.. oh and the family had a wonderful time at Fort Knox👍

Beautiful property! We stayed in one of the motel rooms. All rooms have a private balcony facing the water. Great place to relax and have morning coffee. Easy walk down to the water where you will find swings, play place for kids, shuffleboard and a fire pit with a tote of firewood. Cabins are spread around the property, each with decks facing the water. Beach is rocky but walkable. I would definitely go back and spend more than one night just for the relaxation! Staff were super friendly and easy to talk to (and of course the bowl of candy in the office was a bonus) Highly recommende!
