Wonderful hotel. The room was spacious with a pull out couch. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was delicious, like all the other reviewers said. Blueberry muffins and cinnamon rolls made it a hit for kids of all ages. Great location. Walk to the shore and skip rocks. The best part is that they have a roll of paper towels in each room. You wouldn’t expect that to be so nice, but it’s so useful!

We arrived @ 1:45 for early check in, as I called the day before and confirmed I could do this. The lady behind the counter said, sorry we have had many cancellations and housekeeping hasn’t given me the ok. She advised us to wait 15 mins. We came back @ 2:20 and was told sorry still can’t check in, wait till 2:30. We sat in car and watched as she turned a family away. We grab something to eat come back and check in @ 3:30. We leave to go into town for dinner and come back around 8 and hope to relax. There are people slamming doors, running up and down the halls till 10:30 pm. Car alarms going off, people screaming, we call front desk no one answers. Would be a great place if the staff was kind, and also managed the chaos!

Place was easy to find, and we were on the second floor in room 205. The noisiest heating system we have ever heard. It wasn't the usual flow of the heat coming on and off, but it sounded like a diesel truck was parked outside our window, running. The only time it went off, is when the heat was off, around 6 am. We both had to wear ear plugs to sleep, as the sound was so annoying.
Other than that, the place was nice. Breakfast had good options. It was close to family, so it was a great location.

My husband and I came to stay at Belfast Harbor Inn as it is between Portland and Bar Harbor and we wanted to tour both. It was absolutely gorgeous and last minute we were able to upgrade our room to the ocean view and it was so worth it. I forgot to ask for their recipe for their quiche though before I left because it was so yummy. I would most definitely stay again and will be recommending to my family and friends when I get back home.

The Belfast Inn is comfortable and full of lovely people-both staff and guests. We always stay there when visiting Belfast to see nearby family. Highly recommend.

This was an excellent property. They were extremely accommodating.. staff was super friendly and hotel was very clean. Excellent views of the bay and we were able to walk down to an open area and let the kids throw stones in the bay. I would highly recommend for families.

In one of our rooms, it appeared that the balcony had not been swept.
The beds were very comfortable, but sleep was disrupted due to thudding noises from above. Rambunctious kids running as well as adults just walking back and forth made the morning start way too early for us,
It would have been helpeful to have had a way to contact the front desk from the room phone.
Oveerall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we will likely return.
