What an amazing experience it’s a husband and wife team that own the motel and typi couldn’t ask for a more salt of the earth couple! The premises was immaculate and the husband, captain Pete help me learn how to shuck oysters. The whole experience was unbelievable and my children loved this place, I will definitely be booking this hotel again.

We had a great experience! The owners were super friendly & accommodating. Although the description said adult environment (which was likely due to an often used smoking area not far from the pool area), we found it to be quite family friendly. There were community pool toys for the kids and my boys were so excited to watch the train go by from the pool. Nice little shared outdoor cooking area with grills, microwaves & toasters - made for a budget friendly trip since we didn’t have to eat out for every meal. Almost had a B&B meets campground vibe. Small rooms, but that’s par for the course in OOB. Overall a solid choice and the location is hard to beat.

We only stayed a night, as was a stop moving through back up to Canada. So really only slept in the room. For a motel it was average, the room was not that big. We never used the pool, as our time was out at the beach. the nice thing was that it was right across basically from a walking path to the beach. The front desk lady was warm and inviting. We did do the extended parking for the day of check out to allow us more time down at the beach. The only thing i would have also liked was for it to have been a place that does an 11am check out, I know that might seem strange but i find the hour especially with children just easier and not as rushed.

Pete and Lisa, owners, we’re very helpful and inviting. Right across the street from the beach. The train runs passed every hotel on the street but this hotel did not shake when it went by and the noise was more tolerable than other places we’ve stayed in the past. 5 stars to Lisa and Pete for hosting our family vacation. We had a blast!

Cute little seaside motel in a NE beach town. Clean and safe. Owners are wonderful folks who live on the premises and cheerfully greet guests like family. Great view of the fireworks from the second floor! Walking distance to all OOB has to offer. 10/10!

Very nice hotel! The room was too small for a family of 4 but was able to figure it out. It was hard to maneuver the cars out back to park, but all in all a great experience! Very close to the Playplace so extremely convenient!

You should know that the staff is really kind and smiling. They are also very well located for the beach and activities. On the other hand, a motel is made to sleep. There is a train that passes until late night At the back yard of the motel that literally makes the whole building vibrate. If you have young children, it will cause you a white nuit. Also, we had a room with the curtain breaking on one window and non-existent in the other that burns privacy and darkness to sleep. Our room was very very worn and the floor was so greasy that it caused us a fall. That's it, I'm very mixed on this one.
