Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

Our family of 5 loved our stay! Perfect location on Main Street, could walk to shop and drive into Acadia in 10 min. Hotel was super clean, delicious breakfast with gluten free options, and my kids loved a dip in the pool after a long day of hiking. Staff was friendly, would definitely stay again on our next trip to Bar Harbor

Stayed with my family for 4 days and had a great experience. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet spread and service is to be commended, I observed that the staff were very attentive and proactive making sure the guest’s every need was taken care of. I even observed one staff going above and beyond to get food for a guest directly from the kitchen as the guest expressed his desire for muffins. All in all, very happy with my stay here and recommend this hotel to anyone. I will most certainly stay here again when we visit next time. Well done Bar Harbor Grand Hotel!

The check-in was a great experience and they let us know everything we could need. Each kid was given a stuffed animal when we got there. Breakfast each day was exactly what we needed to get the day started. The rooms were quiet and clean. Literally everything was fantastic.

Wow! Although not a waterfront property, the Grand Bar Harbor Hotel does not disappoint! We had an amazing stay in a very comfortable room, the staff was above-and-beyond pleasant to deal with, and the proximity to the main street stores and restaurants made shopping and eating easy! We were travelling as a family of four. One of the best hotels - highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved staying here, we had the family sweet with 2 young kids and 3 adults. The room was beautiful & very spacious. Our favorite part of our stay was all the extremely kind staff that went above and beyond to make our stay great.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally large and clean. The location was ideal for our family of 5, will definitely be back!

My family and I stayed at Bar Harbor Grand for 6 nights/7 days and were extremely happy with the overall stay. The hotel itself is very well maintained and spacious. Some of the amenities we used were the parking (free), laundry facilities, and the pool. The location of the hotel is very convenient as its only a few minutes walk to the heart of Bar Harbor and all its places to eat, shop, and book tours if that's what you want to do. Breakfast was provided, but it was your typical continental breakfast with no changes to the items available from day to day (many hotels that provide breakfasts these days have waffle-makers -- *hint hint*). The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and were more than happy to offer suggestions on activities and places to eat. Our room was very spacious and comfortable for the week that we stayed. Beds were comfortable to sleep in, and there were plenty of closet space and furniture to store our belongings. Rooms were cleaned everyday (typically while we were having breakfast) so no issues there. We had a great time at Bar Harbor, and our stay at Bar Harbor Grand Hotel is one of the reasons why. Will not hesitate to stay there again during our next visit!
