Acadia Inn

The staff at the hotel makes the difference. They were wonderful—everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast crew and support staff around the property. They also specialize in focusing on the kid's stay with planned activities available for them. Our room was clean and they actually came in during the day and remade the bed, unlike so many other hotels nowadays. Well worth the price, would happily stay there again.

Close to bar harbour. Walking distance. Clean hotel. Tv was silly to have an old remote not the Samsung remote. Removed every feature from the tv. It was a new smart tv but only had channels ? Shower was a bit dated. Good location location we was in a couple but I think it be great for families. Good breakfast.

Great for kids. Had a smores night, playground and play toys and pool. Also had a reasonable laundry. Not downtown and difficult to find parking downtown. Near Acadia Park.

We LOVED our stay here! Checking in was super quick and the staff were so kind. My one year old was tired from our drive so he was a little cranky and they offered him a little stuffed raccoon toy and cookies which cheered him (and me) up. The breakfast employees were also very nice and my son loved interacting with them. The rooms were clean with plenty of amenities. I loved having the bath and body aromatherapy products available! There was a playground that my son loved and a trail behind the hotel. They also had drink and snack machines. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. There are a few things I’d make note of. There are only two washers and two dryers available in the basement of the hotel to use, which was tough because so many people wanted to use them at the same time. They each cost two dollars per cycle. The front desk sells detergent for $.50 which is convenient. The bedrooms don’t have a set of sheer curtains like many hotels to allow light but also some privacy, so we kept all of the curtains closed most of the time. There isn’t a microwave in the room. Our tub also did not hold bath water which was tough with a toddler. Overall, our stay was lovely and we would definitely stay again!

Great location. Could catch the free island explorer shuttle to downtown and very close drive to Acadia. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and green space. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast options were great.

The property was quiet and family friendly with the outdoor yard activities, playground and pool. Easy to get to the park and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

Great for families exploring Bar Harbor!

Spent 2 nights as a family. Excellent place, would highly recommend. Pretty close to town, eating joints, the waters / beach.

Exactly as advertised. Can walk to Bar Harbor (about 20 minutes) and get to Acadia National Park by car in 3 minutes. Friendly, clean, and very family friendly.

This was a small but clean hotel. The staff made all the difference! Super friendly and so nice. They even had coloring books for the kids.
