Hampton Inn & Suites Shreveport/South

The hotel was nice and quiet. The only issue we had was the second day we were there the pool had so much chlorine added everyone who went into the pool ended up coughing and not being able to breathe out of my family and my sisters. Plus other guests around us. I ended up with a migraine from the pool chemicals but it was nice service

A circuit blew in my room and did not get fixed throughout my stay. I didn’t have a TV, fridge, or microwave - traveling with two kids - that made it tougher. The front desk told me when I checked out that I had to call Expedia for a refund. When Expedia reached out to the property, they denied the refund. The Manger of the property never reached out to me to make it.

We love this hotel. It is located in a great area for us to visit family. We always choose this hotel because of the friendly staff and it is super clean! The breakfast hostess Martha is a gem! Food is good and area is clean! Thank you for providing a great hotel for a reasonable price!

The hotel was awesome. The 3 stars is for the pool. We stayed at this hotel for my grandchildren to swim in the pool. I called 2 day prior to my stay to make sure the pool was good. They said it was and when we arrived at the hotel to swim, the heater on the pool was broken. Making it impossible to swim. VERY disappointing.

Well we did not know that the hotel is in process of remodeling and since several of the amenities are unavailable we should have been given a discount on pricing. Secondly. The breakfast was not suitable for kids and there were a lot of kids that weekend due to a competition, kids don’t eat eggs with onions and peppers and cheese in them, and frankly since I have an allergy to cheese I was unable to have eggs as well, so it left oatmeal without any good additives, or waffles or cold cereal, you had sausage but who wants to eat just sausage, there were no biscuits. So all together not a great plan you should definitely go to just plain scrambled eggs, with your sausage or have bacon and definitely some biscuits.

This is an excellent place to stay when family has medical appointments or treatments.
