The staff were very helpful, and we absolutely enjoyed our family stay. The location was within walking distance of several restaurants, and you could take a trolley for cheap transportation right in front of the hotel!

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn more than a few times and have always been happy with it. However, the room we were in this time on the 5th floor was a disappointment. The door sweep was torn making the door hard to open and shut and overall the furniture was worn and needs updating. It felt smaller than rooms I’ve stayed in at this property. I really hope the Hampton Inn will keep this property in good condition because it is the perfect location for us when visiting family and friends in New Orleans.

Jade and the whole staff made our stay at a difficult time, for we had a family member in the hospital , a pleasant and accommodating to our needs! The housekeeping staff was as accommodating and tended to our requests! I highly recommend this hotel for cleanliness, assistance, and comfort!

The hotel is clean and well kept. It is right on the St. Charles Ave. streetcar line, which is convenient for getting to the French Quarter or beyond without having to drive there but it does take time so be sure to consider that. The area around the hotel is mainly quiet residential but there were some good places to eat within a reasonable walking distance. I did see some complaints in other reviews about the breakfast. I found breakfast fine. I wish they had the premade oatmeal with toppings but there were packets of plain oatmeal along with the flavored. This has become a pet peeve in hotels - our room could have used more towel hooks. We were a family of 4 but there weren't enough hooks to hang everyone's towel to dry properly since housekeeping is no longer provided every day.

Great staff! Great location! St. Charles Street is beautiful. Easy to pop on the trolly or get an uber to Frenchman St. or the French Quarter. Walk to Audubon Park, breakfast at Wakin Bakin or Uptown Coffee. Perfect if you have a kid at Tulane or Loyola. We will be back.

Perfect spot for everything we wanted to do. Breakfast was very good both days we ate at the hotel. They were very accommodating and had bag valet. Staff was kind and courteous and hard working. The room and hotel was very clean. The downside…we could hear everything in the room next to us. We were there three nights and the first night we could hear children yelling and playing as children do, but it sounded like it was in our room and not the next room over. We could also hear the elevator mechanism and there was a room between us and the elevator. Our second and third nights we could hear phone calls made in the next room and they were personal and business calls starting at 5am and again it sounded like she was in the room with us instead of next door. I’ll stay there again but I’ll bring ear plugs.
