Place d'Armes Hotel

We stayed for only one night, but it was so great! All the history, courtyards, the pool, the balcony over the pool, the kids had so much fun! It was right off of Jackson Square, and only a block from Cafe Du Monde, so we were able to have beignets everytime we walked by! At the checkout they gave us some fish food for the kids to feed the fish and mail some postcards. They kids will never forget this trip, no matter how short the stay was!

The staff treats you like family.

Loved our stay here with our toddler. The courtyard pool was wonderful and being in the French quarter our room was still quiet at night. The staff was friendly and the hotel has so much charm! Recommend!

The courtyard was very cute and unique! The junior king room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was excellent! The location of the hotel was great... right off Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter. Would definitely stay again!!

My stay was awesome as always! Everyone I come it like visiting family. The staff is so kind and always helpful and cheerful. I’d never stay anywhere else! I am so appreciative of them honoring my last minute request for room 209! I like be that room!

Our experience at this boutique hotel was excellent, from check in to check out, 2 days later. We arrived early and our room was ready so we were able to settle in before our lunch time tour. Every person on the staff was gracious and welcoming. The king junior suite was so beautiful. With exposed brick, it overlooked the back courtyards and pool and it was very quiet. The location couldn’t be beat - 1.5 blocks to Jackson Square, 1.5 blocks to Bourbon Street. Easy to get to the Hop On Hop Off bus. We’ll absolutely look to stay at Place D’Armes when we return to New Orleans. Thank you for a Wonderful visit to your beautiful city.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly - almost family-like - and accommodating. The room was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Located only a few yards from Jackson Square and dozens of restaurants and shops makes this a great place to stay for your New Orleans visit.

The staff was excellent! Everyone was so welcoming when we arrived, and for the entire stay! They greeted us each time we walked through the lobby, assisted with recommendations for dining, shopping and tours of the city, and even offered to help with transportation. They were all very kind and enjoyable to talk with. The hotel has charm and beauty, and was clean and comfortable. Oh, and the beds were so cozy, I slept like a baby! I will definitely be coming back, and would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to New Orleans!

Historic quaint hotel amazing views from balcony with great views of the church and Jackson square and easily walkable to famous. cafe Dumond and shops The hotel courtyard was beautiful with the fountains and pool. Grandkids loved feeding the fish The staff were so welcoming and helpful .. A big shout out to Stewart and Ms Patrice both amazing and fun … we will defiantly be back

We have been staying here for over 30 years. It only gets better with each trip. The building is historic, not a cookie cutter hotel. The staff is wonderful, especially Stuart, Marc (with a "c" from OC) and Bridget. Like our family. Location couldn't be better.
