Wingfield Inn & Suites

Drew was such a big help! I had mistakenly reserved for two months later through a third party and he walked me through changing the reservation so my family could stay the two nights I had intended to book! The breakfast was excellent, the room was clean, and the property was quiet and safe.

We were Here for one night to attend a family funeral. The motel was convenient for us. easy to get to where we needed to go, nice hot breakfast. We would stay here again if in the Owensboro area.

When we arrived there no one would answer door. It was early evening when we got there. We had to call the hotel three times before someone answered and let us in. The hotel smelled like smoke and our room and bathroom was dirty. It was a terrible stay for our family.

We love the employees very friendly knowledgeable We will not stay anywhere else when we come visit our kids In Kentucky….!!

The staff is amazing! Super friendly and helpful! We were there during a flash flood and lost power. They offered a refund to relocate. We decided we wait it out and power returned. The rooms are clean & spacious and prices are great! I also appreciate the staff member that was super quick to help get ice for my grandson when he fell outside riding his scooter and later provided an ice pack! This was our 2nd stay here this year and we will definitely be back each time we are in town to visit family.

This is an older hotel that appeared to have some updated renovations inside, but is in need of outside maintenance. The staff was nice and helpful. The communal areas and our room was clean. We were on the first floor with a one inch wooden rod in the window to keep anyone outside from sliding it open. The desk chair’s leather was peeling with 1/3 of the seat gone and several places on the back were peeling. The desk had deep scratches on the front. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open. The bed was on the firm side. Tv stations were from other national cities with some news stations reporting snippets of news from a few days old to over a week old. There were stations for everyone in the family. There was an outside pool that appeared to be clean with a small area for lounging. The outside side door didn’t shut completely upon arrival leaving it unlocked and prior to leaving the hinge had broken staying open. The back door was working properly upon arrival, but sometime during our stay black tape was placed over the card scanner and the stairwell door was cracked for entry. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, muffins, various breads, self made waffles and beverages. The location is right off the highway in a more quite less busy area, but close to many venues, shopping and restaurants.
