Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront

Awesome overall experience! Room very spacious to accommodate our family. Beautiful view of the riverfront. Love seeing bridge. This was for the 4th! Always great live band & spectacular fireworks show!

I enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding area. When I lived in Owensboro before I moved, this used to be the location of the Executive Inn and some night club. Glad to see that Owensboro revitalized downtown with this hotel and waterfront park. Hotel staff, room, and breakfast was great. Lure restaurant has great food and drinks. Property and was clean inside and out. Will be the go to hotel in Owensboro when visiting family there.

Only had one elevator working and it was very busy.. I stay in many hotels for work and family time, this hotel didn’t have any usb ports in any of the lamp or plugs.. a simple fix would be update the alarm clock to have some.. also the computer chair leather was pretty worn out too. This hotel is supposed to be one of the nicest in Owensboro think it’s time for some updates

We were very disappointed in our stay and had several issues. The elevators were dirty and very slow. I killed several ants on the bathroom floor (we never had food in our room). The worst part about our stay was the fact that we could hear the people in the room next door (through the special adjoining door). They were being extremely loud and we could here every single word. It kept my young children up at night for nearly two hours. I don’t think there was sufficient padding between the adjoining doors. This issue needs to be fixed!

Advertised with sleep sofa or extra bed for family friendly stay. We had to go buy an air mattress.

I was looking for a safe place for my wife and kids to stay for the night while my wife was having some test done close by during a snowstorm. It was last minute and a tough situation,the staff was friendly and helpful,The hotel was clean and well kept . I cannot thank the staff and management enough for making my family feel safe and sound . It is never easy for me to leave them ,but your establishment made me feel a lot more comfortable doing so. Very nice property with city and river views. Award winning, great for kids park a few blocks away, several restaurants close by and a short walk to KY Bluegrass Museum and venue.

A very nice Hotel located downtown and on the Ohio River. Has beautiful view and within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. A great park for the kids. The Room was very clean and comfortable.

Enjoyed the hotel and location couldn't have been better. One odd thing to look out for is the time you need to go to bed and if the bar is hosting live music. We had a room located on the water. Everything about the hotel was perfect but they did have a band on our side of the hotel, outside with full drum kit and amps. We have young kids and had an early morning start so it was kind of a bummer to have rocking music outside until 10pm. Everything worked out fine but it's not exactly how I like to unwind after a day of travel with kids. If we didn't have kids we would have been down there listening to it so this isn't really a complaint as much as it's a warning depending on your needs and travel type. The park down the street is world class.

My family loved our stay here. Our room had the most beautiful view of the river. Waking up every morning looking at that made us feel like we were on the beach. Our only downside was there wasn’t enough dresser space to put our clothes, as we are a family of 4 and stayed 4 days and we pack heavy. Overall everything was great! Great distance to everything especially Smoters park
