Our stay at the French Quarter in my hometown Maysville, KY was excellent. Our room was, most importantly to us, clean and big free. The beds were quite cozy with plenty of pillows, and having a fridge and microwave was convenient. My kid's favorite part of our stay was the whirlpool bathtub! We were in town for a funeral, and having a gigantic bubble bath to have fun (and practically swim) in really cheered her up. We also really enjoyed the warm Christmas decorations in the lobby.
