For the price, I expected the hotel to be less dated. Walls were dinged up, floors didn’t seem clean, bathroom had hair stuck to the ceiling. The beds were uncomfortable with hard pillows and thin sheets. We had to ask for more towels daily because they only left 2 towels and 2 washcloths in our room for a family of 4. Pool was clean. Breakfast buffet was expensive for nothing special, but it got the job done. Omelet chef was great though, that’s pretty much what we ate every morning since it was easier to get breakfast there then haul our kids down the street to something else.

We stayed the night when we were in town to see a game at Rupp and this was perfect for us. Parking is complimentary for hotel guests but it looked like it's $27 to park in the same lot if you're just going to the game. The entrance to Rupp is so easily accessible through the lobby. It couldn't have been more convenient. And we didn't have to try to race to get out of the parking lot because we just walked back to our hotel. The pool was open until 12 which was perfect for our kids who love a hotel pool and wanted to swim after the game. The staff was very welcoming and very friendly. We will definitely stay again when we're in town.

They gave us a key to an occupied room. I opened the door with my kids to a half naked man. Immediately went to front desk. The clerk was very nice and went to get the manager who decided free breakfast and $100 off for the night was a great way to make it up, but didn’t bother to come speak with us. Gave a new “upgraded” room, to find one bed for four people. So, we had to move again to another room. All 3 rooms on our tour were filthy. The hotel in general unkempt and outdated. Smelt of cigarettes throughout. Just plain nasty. Will never stay again.
