I choose holiday inn even though it was quite a bit more than some of the other hotels. The room was ok. The hotel overall was a bit worn, but there were tons of families. So i can understand how the walls get beaten up fast. Breakfast was a zoo, the women had a hard time keeping the food filled and not enough seating. But again near Mammoth Cave so tons of kids. Decent value, not sure what the lower cost hotels would be like so hard to judge. Bedding was comfortable.

We were just stopping on our way to visit family down south and found this hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Do not get a room on the first floor unless you want to hear the people in the pool. Pool says it closes at 8 and they let people stay in there til at least 9. Pool was cloudy and packed with people. Didn’t let my kids go in it. Room was fine, staff was fine, breakfast was constantly out of stuff and staff was just chit chatting while k wiped my own table down everyday with their materials. It’s ok, wouldn’t stay again.

The staff and maintenance ALWAYS work toward a better hotel. They are always on call and do an excellent job maintaining the functionality of the amenities. Everything works! The front desk staff is excellent at recieving you and your family and they really understand travellers' needs. It shows. Great job from top to bottom for this hard working and friendly team of professionals. I highly recommend this hotel.

Super close to Kentucky Down Under. Check was a little rocky. We booked two rooms and the hotel clerk could only find one room. After I chatted with Expedia (no # to call), the clerk found the other room. Breakfast was excellent (wish it was 6-10 instead of 6-9). The kids loved the pool and hot tub and thankfully it wasn’t humid in the pool area. Everything was clean and the staff was super nice! Limited restaurants. You’ll need to drive to Bowling Green or Glasgow for a decent meal after 6pm.

We stayed here for one night while on a road trip. Very badly kept place. The pool and hot tub were disgusting. I wouldn’t let my kids go in them.

DONT LET THE PHOTOGRAPHS FOOL YOU! This property was clearly poorly renovated & neglected right after. We thought it would be a good stay to visit the mammoth caves & thought wrong. The rooms are dim, dark & deceiving. There was a stain on the floor which wasn’t a big deal, but the bedding was clearly not clean which we noticed as our kids were ready for bed. We were offered another room which I walked into & saw filthy carpeting-traveling with a crawling baby this was not ideal but I was willing to overlook it until I checked the bedding & there was what looked like a pube! We immediately packed up & should have noticed how dirty the floors were in the elevator & around the front desk. This seems like a hotel for the junkies to check in & get their fix. We attempted to go up the road to cave city which had all the blue lights in their parking lots so junkies couldn’t shoot up. Avoid the area altogether & stay in bowling green.
