Hampton Inn McPherson

Our room was well-equipped with all our needed amenities. The shower was great, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast variety was good and mostly tasty...except for the sausage gravy, which tasted like it came from a can and used artificial sausage. The staff were mostly friendly. I was a bit disappointed to find no attendant at the desk on three separate occasions...only a sign saying someone would be back soon. I found "soon" to be much longer than my patience. I also found it odd that there was no cleaning of the rooms overnight. I think that is the first time we have encountered this. It also seemed odd to be told that the complimentary cookies provided in the evening are not available on the weekend, even though the room rate is higher on the weekend (that was a disappointment to grandchildren and grandparents alike)!

It was the perfect setup for out family of 5!!! Plenty of space for the little ones to run around after a long day on the road

We were in town again for a 3-day basketball tournament. We always stay at this hotel. It's clean, the front desk is super friendly, a good breakfast, and the lobby area is perfect to hang out as a team in the evenings to have dinner catered in or to just be together as parents & players. The suite is perfect for our family as it gives us lots of room to move around. The only thing I would suggest is that the showers are probably ready to be updated. There are water stains in the tub and the fixtures are starting to get a little tired. I do think that the pool has been "out of order" for the last 2 years, so not sure what is going on there, but it didn't affect our stay. Other than that everything else has been really good at this hotel & Im sure our team will continue to stay here.

The suite that we got was Huge and allowed my family to spread out and be comfortable.

It was a great property and the kids loved the pool. My only complaint was the air conditioner made a whiny noise. But I was able to sleep with it. My son will be going to college in McPherson and I will continue to stay here the next 4 years!
