Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Lawrence

The staff at the Country Inn and Suites completely took my situation in mind and was so courteous. After arriving in town from Chicago for a tour of KU I realized we had a vehicle issue that morning and had to drop the car off at the dealership. Not knowing when I'd get it back my family was forced to uber to the campus and around town. Justin and fellow co-workers allowed me an my family to check out late while we got our car situation taken care of. Luckily it wasn't a major problem at the dealership and we got the car back at 1pm. Thanks for being understanding when emergencies like this occur.

We stayed here for my mother’s memorial service. Our family had about 8 rooms. Lots of kids and time in the pool. Staff was very helpful. We were probably a little loud in the breakfast room and they let it go. Well done.

It appeared the hotel is new. Anyway, It was quiet in my room as a church mouse. So much so that I overslept on my cross country journey. Bed was very comfortable, Room was spacious enough. Shower was awesome. Breakfast was excellent. This baby, right now, is a 10.

The property is not close to campus (which we knew) and there’s a lot of construction in the area but the staff was lovely, the property was clean and it’s good for families.

When I first entered my room it was decent and everything appeared good. Then I found hair on the bathroom floor and on the edge of the tub. Later I found hair on the bedspread. The next morning I went to breakfast. I found dried food on some of the plates put out to use. A couple days later I and my dad took my daughter and her two kids to the pool. My dad had just had a stent put in. We were at the motel to let him get away from things for a while. When we entered the pool area it was extremely hot and humid. It was an indoor pool. It was suffocatingly hot. I was worried about my dad. I propped an outside door open to let the cold air in. A few minutes later one of the hotel personnel came by and said the door had to be closed. I explained my dads condition. He said the door still had to be closed. My daughter has been to that motel several times. She said both doors had been propped open by the motel people on several occasions. That particular motel will never see me as a customer again.

The room was nearly perfect. Clean although the kids found a pair of dirty socks from the last folks and a vap cartridge behind the headboard. Had to ask for extra towels as the kids took quite a few showers after several swims. It was nice the facility is new.

Though the website did not explicitly state is was pet friendly, it did not advise of the contrary either. We were forced to pay a $250 fee for a 14 year old dog who makes no messes or noise. Oddly enough the room was dirty and the carpet had stains. There was discarded food under the bed, so I did not appreciate the irony of having to pay a cleaning fee for a room which was littered with food to begin with. The staff at check in handled the situation well, and I realize their policy is out of the control of the front line staff. My family and our need for multiple rooms will probably be met by another hotel on our next visit.

I was relocating and had a terribly long and stressful day. I Googled hotels that accept pets and this hotel was first on the list. Then I booked a room through Expedia since that is how I book all of my business travel. The manager was extremely rude and condescending, even laughing during my request for a refund because I mentioned that I would be writing a bad review. I have never been treated so poorly by a person in a Customer Service position! He refused to tell me his name and said that he did not have to tell me. How childish and insolent!

Excellent hotel! We had a one night stay over while traveling from Alabama to Colorado. I wish we could have stayed longer. Room was large! Beautiful walkin shower, large countertop in bathroom. We were impressed with the quietness of our first floor room. We didn't hear doors slamming, people talking, babies crying or tv's playing next door.

Excellent customer service....great for families. Breakfast buffet has something for everyone....super clean rooms. Staff really goes the extra mile
