Very nice! The rooms were very clean, breakfast was hot and continuously maintained. Kids enjoyed the pool and the steps, handicapped ramp and shallow end allowed our younger children to play while the older kids played in the deeper end. Water toys were supplied as well. Staff was super friendly and very prompt with any requests (more towels for the pool). There was a full bar as well but we did not use. Multiple Outside seating areas with gas fire pits. You can even purchase smores kits to toast on the fire pits! This hotel is located in a very nice area of town. Clean quiet and secure. I highly recommend!! Only issue is if you have littles that require a bathtub, you may need to check with booking. Our room only had a shower.

Overall a good value. Modern rooms, friendly staff, clean and nice amenities. It’s in a VERY safe and quiet area, and has a nice pool and BBQ area, so awesome for families. The breakfast was typical of an inclusive buffet. I really appreciated the low $15 pet fee!

We stayed her for a track meet and the hotel was above expectations. We definitely would stay here again & would recommend this hotel to family and friends!

Stayed on Monday & Tuesday nights. No hassle parking, quiet, clean room, comfortable large shower, good fresh breakfast, a pool for the kids, an exercise room for the adults and for all that the price was affordable. I will stay there again if need be. Only one small complaint, the sink faucet ran constantly. We couldn't get it to shut off completely. I probably should have told someone. It would have been an easy fix.

With a child attending nearby KU, we have stated in several Lawrence hotels, and the Stone Hill is our favorite. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the free breakfast is quite good. It’s the people that make the whole experience so good though. Lydia was basically running the whole place when we checked in at our most recent stay. The hotel was full, and she juggled the front desk, hospitality, and the bar seamlessly. Her positive attitude was fantastic, and she made doing many things at once look easy. Every business could use a Lydia! We’ll definitely be back.
