Best Western Plus Emerald Inn & Suites

The hotel was what we needed it to be. It was clean, staff was friendly, the pool was open for the kids and breakfast was good and as advertised. No complaints.

Our stay was very good. The room was very clean and welcoming. the pool was good, and the hot tube was amazing. the beds were a little rough though and the pull-out bed in the couch was bad the kids could not sleep on it because it was all springs. but overall, it was a very nice place, and we will be staying there again.

My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. I extremely loved it since it was 3 to 4 ft pool. Thanks yo the kitchen employees for the awesome breakfast. Everything was so delicious.

A great time had by all! Clean, updated, friendly service and all the amenities. We loved the view from our room. My little ones didn’t want to leave.

We (family of 5) stopped for one night here and glad we did. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a good variety for breakfast and the staff working breakfast was very sweet. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the front was short staffed and had to try to work front desk, bar and all other duties. Very disappointing the pool was so cold even the kids wouldn't get in, so we went to the city pool. The pool was the main reason for choosing this location. They had workers, but not repaired. Again, staff was exceptional

I have come to Garden City to visit family for many years, and have stayed in many different hotels in this town. I would rate all of them on a 3-4 scale out of 10. So when I booked at this Best Western, I fully expected it to be the same mediocre-at-best type of hotel. Wow, was I surprised. This hotel is such a huge step above the competition in this town, it deserves a shout out. First of all...it's clean and smells clean. This is important, since the entire town of Garden City constantly smells like a feedlot...I mean, you are in cattle country. Second, it actually has a very modern design. Definitely not your standard box cut highway "motel". Third, the staff was very nice and helpful. To be fair, I didn't have to ask for much...but for the brief interaction I had...they were very pleasant. Our room was very big, which was nice. The halls were quiet and I really couldn't hear anyone running around like I have 100 times before at other hotels in this town. Also...most similar style hotels have the LOUD A/C boxes that blare so loudly, it's impossible to sleep. This hotel did NOT have that. Even had a ceiling fan! I definitely would recommend this location to anyone looking in Garden City. When you are in southwest Kansas...in the middle of nowhere...it's a nice relief to stay at a place that's actually clean and modern. Only two "sort of" negatives: Our fridge didn't keep anything cold The elliptical machine in the gym wasn't working Otherwise, great hotel.
