Hampton Inn Colby

We specifically chose this for pool and hot tub 2 days of skiing and kids pool, hot tub and workout area all closed very disappointed

Our family was in town for my daughter’s college graduation. We gathered in the lobby the hotel staff was amazing.10/10 the breakfast was less than desirable a couple mornings and refilling items was an issue. But all in all it was a great stay

Our family stayed here on our way to Colorado and it was great. We loved the pool and the easy access to dining and downtown. Would recommend.

We were on the 1st floor which was problematic since there were very loud guests around and above us. Not really the Hotels fault but could use better sound insulation. The breakfast area was way to small for the full conditions of the hotel. It was either the floor or back to our rooms. The breakfast was simply warmed up frozen goods (eggs, bacon, potatoes etc...) Between our family, we have some of everything offered except cereal. Most of the food had zero flavor. Would have rather paid less for no breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean including the large bathroom. They got the bathroom right. Large and clean. The pool heater was broken and the maintenance guy chose the 5 minutes after our kids entered the pool area to add a bunch of chemicals to the pool. Our kids had to get our of the pool for 20 minutes while it diluted? This was about 8:15 at night. The pool closed at 10pm. Not sure why the chemicals had to be applied then??

We arrived at midnight for our reservation, so our requested room type had already been given away. So our family of 3 had to sleep in one queen bed. I understand how room guarantees work so get it. My goal is to try and obtain a refund from Hotels.com for the extra money I was charged for the upgraded room we did not get. The hotel said they couldn’t give me a lower rate because payment has already been made through hotels.com/Expedia.

There were five of us, 3 adults and 2 children. Very happy with our stay.
