The gentleman checking us in didn't have much personality (it was obvious that he doesn't like his job). Pool was "temporality closed" and the main reason for going to this hotel was so my kids could swim in pool :(.

The website said that they had a pool. Took a kids group to there specifically to swim the day before and after an amusement park. This was these kids ONLY vacation and no swimming! The night attendant was hanging out in the lobby with her biker boyfriend. Eating dinner and watching movies. Making it very uncomfortable for our group to utilize the lobby No soap in rooms had to beg for slivers

Check in was a little slow given we'd already booked through Hotels.com. Additionally, there were a couple of cars parked under the portico who where picking up the hotel staff as they got off work. One was playing music pretty loudly and it detracted from from the experience with friends and family

Stayed to enjoy a family members birthday. Good location in Altoona off the highway if you need a night stay. Small, heavy chlorinated pool. Bar service and drinks were decent. Staff was accommodating and nice.

The hotel is in a nice area. It is very clean and the staff there were respectful, courteous and stayed on top of things. The breakfast was going fast but the staff made sure to be closely monitoring it and kept coming in to refill items. I don't think there was one thing my family could complain about during our stay here!

The Beds are super comfortable and neat. I am impressed everything including the breakfast. It was nice to stay with my family and my dog. I definitely would be back in the future.

Upon our initial stay (20-21 DEC) everything was great- the evening check in went smooth and it was a nice stay. The second time we came (on our way back through town 26-27 DEC) our check in process was fine but in the morning, we had a TERRIBLE experience with the guy behind the counter who I believe said his name was Will. I will try to leave a separate review regarding THAT experience but we will never stay here again as a result of the rude and terrible way we were treated on our second visit. For this reason, my review of this specific stay is middle of the road. I recommend if you have kids or dogs you go elsewhere. Oh and be advised that the hotel charges $25 per pet, not per room as Hotels.com indicates
