The very accommodating staff made sure that our three families were very close to one another, as requested. She even allowed all 20 of us to use the breakfast room to have a pizza party, and was soft on our 12 young grandkids as they rollicked in the pool and hot tub.

This hotel was very dated. We had a very nice women help us check in however, the process took 20 minutes. We had 2 adjoining rooms, both had issues. The one we stayed in had not been dusted in months and the tv did not work, along with that there were old foam stickers that obviously held a mirror at one time, that had hair stuck in them. The coffee maker had old water in it with what looked like mold floating in the top and there was no body wash in the wall dispensers. When we went to go to bed we noticed that there was dark curly black hair under the blanket and everyone in my family is blonde. It was late so we decided to go to bed in the extra bed as opposed to complaining. We did not use the pool because there seemed to Be a private party going. Just all in all an irritating experience. I wouldn’t say it ruined our trip…but I would say I will never stay there again.

The overnight gal who checked us in was SUPER great! Shower was good and pool had lots for kids. Housekeeping needs to do a more thorough job though. Door was ajar when I got to the room (single mom with young kid). Visible bottle and crumbled chips were beside the bed near the back wall and there was only 1 water up (apparently not restocked) and no door hanger to not disturb. Breakfast was a great selection although would’ve been nice to extend to 10am for weekend. Overall; pleased with the stay we had there!

We were informed they were short staffed and if we wanted our room cleaned/serviced it “might happen”. We can deal with that, HOWEVER the provided breakfast was THE WORST we’ve ever had. The eggs well…they had the consistency of mashed potatoes and lacked the flavor of eggs. The biscuits were better served as hockey pucks. The room was clean and comfortable and the desk clerk amiable. However we will choose another option on our next visit to see family.

It is a very family, friendly hotel. You will be greeted with a smile and for a budget hotel it is well worth the money

We arrived later in the evening and while Debra was entertaining, clearly a well meaning person and hard worker—I didn’t love the check in process. She was loudly announcing my identification was just an ID and making jokes about it clearly stating it’s not a drivers license. What Debra didn’t know is that I have a medical condition and cannot drive. This is a sore subject for me so her loud silliness and comments were pretty humiliating. It was really just a really uncomfortable experience. She didn’t know, and I didn’t say, but this isn’t something that should be commented on. It was very embarrassing. The room had a foul smell, lightly sewage like, when we entered, I wanted to complain but I really didn’t want to interact with Debra again. Like I said, she IS clearly a nice person, but her joking nature was just too uncomfortable, I wasn’t bouncing back quickly as much as I tried to seem unbothered. We later interacted with her in the pool and she kindly blew up a ball for our kids. She then proceeded to test the pool chemicals while we were in it and then while my husband was alone in the hot tub. It was weird and unsettling. I think perhaps she’s got some issues with boundaries… Breakfast was awful. There was expired yogurt, the morning desk clerk was super apologetic and remedied that, but the biscuits were hard and the gravy was awful and tasteless, the eggs awful, the sausage, too. The lemonade tasted rancid. There’s a lot of potential but they’re missing the mark.

Worst beds my whole family has slept in- rock hard. Pool area was fun with bball hoop and bball net except they just added cold water so that took awhile to get used to. They put us in two different rooms clear down the hall which was ok but inconvenient. Good area to stay- a lot to do.
