I picked this hotel bc it was highly rated and with being a former hockey mom, I’m familiar with staying at Hampton Inns. However, with this room, I’ve never felt so cramped. Thankfully we were there for one night and it was perfect for that need and location. Also, my bath towel had blonde hair on it and my husband’s towel had black hair. We both have brown hair :/. The bed was comfy and thankfully we had no noise over night either from the outside, through the walls or through the door. The carpet looked like it had seen better days. Otherwise the bathroom floor seemed updated and nice. I super enjoyed the full bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion mounted in the shower. Although we didn’t have time to use the pool and we stayed in the middle of June, a heads up that the pool was outside would be nice to know for guests with children.

The front desk clerk was much friendlier to our dog than to us. We had two kids with us and it would have been nice for her to invite them to enjoy the fresh cookies and popcorn that were available since she looked at us a little suspiciously when we just helped ourselves. Otherwise we appreciated the pet friendliness of the space. It’s no frills and quite cramped but did the job for a place to sleep comfortably.
