Comfort Suites South Bend near Casino

We arrived an hour early for check in and that staff was able to accommodate us and provide us with adjoining rooms. We were thrilled to find a hotel near the zoo that had a hot tub, pool AND breakfast included. The hot tub and pool were both clean and well maintained. Staff members were present cleaning and taking care of the property. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer questions and provide help. We were there with our grandchildren who LOVE to go to hotels and swim and make their own breakfast (waffles/pancakes) before we headed to the zoo the next morning. It was affordable and a great location, to the zoo and restaurants.

I travel to South Bend/Mishawaka frequently for family get-togethers. This is my regular place to stay. The location is handy and the accommodations are excellent.

It was a great stay overall. The thing that sucked is there were a bunch of hockey teams staying and they came back at midnight and woke my toddler up being so loud. They blocked the hallway and played hockey which was fine if the staff would have made it clear or put them all on one floor and the rest of the guests on another we were stuck in the middle of them all.

This is my go-to place whenever I go home to visit family. The rooms are spacious, attractive, clean, and quiet. I think the carpet and flooring in my suite had been updated since my last stay and were absolutely beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is good, not spectacular, but more than adequate.

Hotel was excellent, once you fixed the tv. Neighbor kids were noisy but it wasn't too late so it worked out okay.

We always stay here when we visit grandkids in South Bend. We are always pleased with the service, spacious room, and hot breakfast. The motel is close to shopping and restaurants.

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit family in South Bend. It is close to stores and restaurants, the rooms are large, and the staff is very helpful.

Excellent choice for families -- indoor pool got lots of use! The breakfast was pretty decent. The facilities were clean and well-lit. Overall, a great choice for staying in South Bend. We love the location at the south end of town -- makes for easy access to the main road, as well as departure at the end of our stay. This is our preferred property to stay at when visiting Notre Dame!

Good value. Main hot breakfast was a little limited (eggs and sausage one day, but did add biscuits and gravy the next), but overall pretty good. Room was spacious. Pool is small and hot tub could be hotter — but during our stay only one other family used it so worked out well. Nice tv (Samsung). Beds were okay, pillows were good. Small snack area near front desk but prices were good for late snack; most items were $2.50, was able to get 3 instant Kraft Mac and cheese for the kids. Overall, great spot and good value.

I have stayed here at least a half dozen times when visiting family in the South Bend/Mishawaka area. The rooms are reliably clean, quiet, and comfortable. It will be my hotel of choice whenever I’m up there.
