Was able to do an early check in. Convenient location to stay and meet family for an Indiana Fever game. Updated rooms. Comfortable beds/pillows. Only concern, was the smell of weed on our non smoking floor. Didn't wake up early enough for the free breakfast buffet. Clean entry.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was great too! My only negative was the pool. We stayed 2 nights, and both nights the pool water was freezing cold! Like, body tingling cold! They tried to pump warm water in, but either didn’t keep it on long enough, or something went wrong with that too. Either way, the kids still played in the pool as long as they could, but we were all shivering at the end.

The friendliness of everyone at the hotel and even the other guests was just wonderful. Other guests were involved with a ball tournament, so kids and they were well behaved and friendly. It made a wonderful trip for us. We went for a funeral and the stay there made it a better trip. We would stay at a Holiday Inn Express again and again.

The hot breakfast was nice and there are a few restaurants in the same area. My only negative comment-and it's very minor- is that the soap dispenser is bolted to the wall across the counter top above the bathroom sink was a little awkward to reach, especially for children.

Overall I was happy with our stay. Upon initial check-in the hotel's pool was closed for maintenance, which was upsetting to my kids, but the very next day the front desk clerk called my room directly and let us know the pool was open and ready for swimmers! We did ask for extra pillows and she even went searching for some. She really went above and beyond to help accommodate us! The room was spacious and quiet, clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was refreshing having different types of food options daily vs the same thing every morning at other hotels.

We stayed here because our child was moving to Butler for freshmen year. We had stayed at other hotels in the area for visits- all of which offered a discounted price for Butler. When we checked in here, they told us we needed to bring our daughter and her ID and then we would get the discount. Why would you have your child who lives on campus come to a hotel to prove this? This is inconsistent with our experience (3rd child through college all in different cities). So our room was twice the price it should have been and they wouldn't honor the discount. The room was fine but the carpets throughout the hallways were badly stained.

The hotel was just ok. King rooms with pull out were small. Faucet wouldn't drain. Plug broken. Indoor pool too hot to sit inside to watch kids. At least there was a refrigerator area and close to LePeep and Starbucks.

Booked the hotel for my children to go swimming. Once I arrived, I found out the pool was closed. I wish I was notified or it said if on the website so I could have booked somewhere else.
