I wanted to give Best Western Plus a look, since I hadn't stayed in one since I was a child during vacations. This was our go-to hotel. The room itself was standard. You really couldn't tell if the sheets were clean, as they weren't tight and neat as clean sheets usually are at home, but spraying Lysol helped me feel better about them. Everything seemed clean but the toilet stool had a ring around it as if it hadn't been scrubbed in a while, but I sprayed some Clorox cleaner in there and it went away. The fridge was warm when we first got there but reporting it took care of that. We couldn't get the TV to show anything but fuzz the first couple of nights and I reported it and it was on when we returned to the room later that day. The ice machine down the hall worked perfectly. I didn't eat breakfast or try anything else. As I said earlier, a standard room.

I would stay here again. Place was clean and what more can you really ask for? The website says they have cribs for babies. They don’t. If you have a young baby that may be a deal breaker. Luckily the room attendant gave me extra bedding so I was able to make a space for my son on the floor. Breakfast wasn’t the greatest but since I didn’t know that was part of my package I couldn’t be too disappointed. Pool was closed for the season which was understandable. Turns out it was unseasonably warm for the end of September. All in all, I think the price for what you get is an even exchange.

First, a big shout out to the staff; they are the only reason this is a 3-star review instead of 1. They are beyond expectations. Good ends there. The advertised pool is closed; if you are traveling with active kids, that's a problem. Breakfast food is horrible, and we went to Panera Bread across the street for edible breakfasts. Bring your towels because the ones provided are old, thin, and rough. There are plenty of other hotels on the same block, take your pick.

Our 2 kids slept on the pull out couch. After asking three different times, we only ended up with a fitted sheet, 1 pillow and 1 blanket. That is all they could find. The girl working the front desk was doing the best she could to keep up. It was not her fault... but still disappointing. We spent one afternoon by the pool, which was nice; however there were people working on the building the whole time using an incredibly loud lift going up and down. Upon check in the girl told me breakfast was served until 9:30. When we went down at 9:15 everything was put away. Overall, these are not terrible occurrences... just disappointing.

I stayed in the double queen suite for two nights. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly when my key didn’t work. My kids loved the two tv’s in the room. I would definitely stay there again. The hotel was close to stores and restaurants.
