Holiday Inn Express Gas City, an IHG Hotel

We love staying here has become tradition to celebrate Christmas with my kids and granddaughters at this hotel. The king suite is very spacious, friendly staff, close to stores and places to eat at, good breakfast selection and pool always open. So thanks for giving us a nice place to celebrate the holiday together

Nice place to stay when visiting family.

It was mayhem... People were running up and down the halls, slamming doors, teenagers were screaming & knocking on doors. The police were called on another room. We were traveling with a toddler, the noise had us up all night and we had to drive the next morning. The lady who checked us in was the nicest part.

Everything was great. It was close to everything we wanted to do. My grandkids loved the pool. The breakfast was good. It was quiet and very clean.

This place is disgusting. BED BUGS!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. When we were checking in a man in front of us was yelling up a storm about how he had no water and he's been asking for it to be fixed and he has been there for a few days....... We should have know not to stay here but were here for a family meeting. We went up to our room and when we got off the elevator the floor was all sticky and there was garbage left in the hallway like the cleaning staff forgot to take care of it. So we went to our room, dropped off our stuff and left for the meeting. We came back a few hours later, jumped in the shower and were getting ready to head to dinner when my daughter pulled back the covers to lay down and text while I finished getting ready and found a dead bed bug on her pillow. I took a picture of it packed up and went to explain that we were NOT staying here. I was very nice to the front desk person, it's not her fault and she said the Manager left for the day. She said she would look into it and asked me to email her the picture which I did, took a business card of the manager and we left. When I got back home I emailed and asked about the refund and the Manager said she will not issue me a refund because she said that I was a liar and it wasn't even a bug that she held it in her hand. I have the proof it was a bed bug and it was dead. This place is a DUMP . Beware. I am speaking the truth and she has the audacity to call me a liar. Unbelievable!!!!

Room was your run of the mill, normal room. Beds were soft and comfortable. Have to ask for house keeping the night before if staying multiple nights. Pool is good for younger kids the deepest part is 4 ft. But it cool to cold
