My stay atbLaQuinta Effingham was good. The front desk staff was very helpful. I have 2 small fur babies. They were very comfortable there. The staff treated my little one very well, which is important to me. The room was clean and comfortable.

Wow! Road tripping and needed a place to stay along 70 for 1 night. We’re a family of 4 with two teens. Very clean! Very friendly from the midnight check in to the breakfast staff and everyone one we encountered until checkout. Pleasantly surprised:) If everyone Effingham, IL is as nice and professional as the staff at this La Quinta, I want to move here!

Nice place overall. During my stay, the entire hotel smelled like a wet dog. There were a great many children there for some function. Loud. Yelling.Running up and down the halls. And the air conditioner in my room sounded like an outboard boat engine. Didn't sleep much.

It was our family road trip and we stayed 1 night in the hotel . Complimentary parking was a plus. The service was pleasant, room specious, clean, 2 queen beds very comfortable for 3 adults. Breakfast in the morning with variety of food, including make yourself waffles was perfect on the way heading the road again. We'd stay in this hotel again.

We had a good stay at the La Quinta. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the hotel and rooms are well maintained. The walls are a bit thin - easy to hear small children (mine included) and neighboring dogs.

Clean, new and beautiful hotel. Staff all very friendly. Unfortunately our late night check in was chaotic with room keys being provided to a room already occupied by a sleeping family. We walked in on a family asleep in their bed and were chased out just as scared as the man we woke up. At the front desk we were provided with a different room and again the same scenario repeated itself with a room occupied being assigned to us. Third time we were finally provided an unoccupied room. The staff was apologetic and despite the mix ups we would stay here again.

Too pricy for quality of building and rooms. Also, dogs were allowed to stay in hotel and barking in rooms that makes really annoying and not family friendly. I do not recommend it and will not stay in such hotel again.
