Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Peoria - Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

There is so much noise at all hours. They have paper thin walls, but then host school sports meets and tournaments. The "suite" is just a single room with no seperation so we were charged to be close to the elevator. Yes thats right, all their suites are next to the elevator. Worst stay in a long time. Not to mention the check in staff raved about the city view while knowing we were on the second floor and the view would be obstructed. Oh and almost forgot about the constant clicking noise from the light next to the front door. Even if its off. Bottom line, they have all guest sign a noise notice at sign in but it doesnt count for kids/teens

BEYOND WONDERFUL!!!! The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the rooms are soooo relaxing!!! Our bed was comfy and our room was quiet! Slept like a baby! Super happy with our stay!

Every single employee with which we interacted was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We lost an iPhone during our trip, and asked the front desk if one had been turned in. A couple hours later, as we were driving home, the housekeeping manager called to tell us they turned the room upside down and couldn't find the phone. Wow. That is above and beyond and certainly not service we are used to. If you have kids, they will love the pancake machine at breakfast. Peoria is my hometown, and I plan to stay here from now on when we visit.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Was great for the family.

Staff were very nice,accomodation and helpful giving suggestions for restaurants. Morning breakfast staff (joe, i think) was so nice and friendly especially to kids.
